Chidambaram Slams Attempt to Divide Nation on Religious Lines

It will be difficult, fugitive, sad story, when a learned lawyer and economist like Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram has to mingle with dirty political tactics, rather has to earnestly toe and defend certain pushed political, non conclusive, accusations, that are blindly incorrect, untrue and biased, as well anti faith, anti society and anti national.

As reported in the media the learned (and more accurate, calculative in wording of his speech) Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram charged that :

""certain elements were attempting to divide the people of country on religious lines, while narrating, that Sooranam (a place near his home town Sivaganga ) is populated by Christians, and added that people following different faiths have been living in India for years in absolute harmony. Chidambaram accused,"but some are trying to bring a divide among people of the country, and they are injecting poison in the minds of even children; that some people are akin to promoting the differences and bring a religious divide." He said, "I strongly condemn this,''  and urged the people not to let the country divided by religious fanatics.

Chidambaram said that infusing differences of caste and creed among children is a cruel act. India is not divided by such differences. "We cannot allow such acts of divisive nature,'' he warned. People of the country should be cautious about such elements that intend to divide the people of the country,.""

Here Mr.P Chidambaram, must retrospect and study the Indian history of last several decades before Independence and after Independence, with a special observation on last two decades, and minutely study the roles of Congress party , the "so called" secular parties, as well as the so called communal parties, and lastly the fundamentalist and even the jehadis, separatists.

There is very thin line of separation of between all these parties from the angle of  "vote bank politics of securing their targeted voters".

But when you judge from the parameters:,a) "the percentage of weightage, preference and importance given to nationalism" and  b) "safeguarding and enhancing the prime  national interest", one must have serious doubt on the standing of the Congress party of Mr.P Chidambaram.  Of course Congress is not on the top of ladder yes, even will not be on the bottom. Yes one can argue if this is correct, where is the right Mr. Chidambaram gets, for making the ambiguous charge on others, why one has not to ponder first on ones own back yard.

Again if as a national party Congress  is supporting, or not objecting, taking support as allies in assemblies and in Parliament, to gain or stay in power, from the caste and religion based groups and parties, you are the equal or even greater culprit, because for your own benefits you are not objecting or cancelling such thoughts and elements of such divisive persons and parties.

In result Congress is the biggest element supporting the cause for birth and promotion of caste, breed and religion based divisive  politics and parties from outside, just in the name that their opponent are doing similar acts. Does this allows the Congress party or the other so called secular to play the same role for which they accuse others to do the identical in the course of retaliation.

The thought chain may go much deeper and murkier for the benefit of such accusation and observation, but I wish to conclude by questioning, how many leaders (Netas) of these secular parties are killed or minutely injured or physically hurt  by any physical attack by the cruel leaders of such so called communal, religious and castiest parties in last two decades?  None, and you accuse others when the role of the Congress party leaders role in 1984  Sikh carnage was the most heinous  and shameless crime committed in Independent India.

It is the innocent public, which bears the brunt of such divisive politics propagated by the most learned leaders, giving sermons to others, while seeing and manifesting killings of thousands of public in support and retaliation.

I regret Mr. Chidambaram,  you have such impure, short and biased memory and you forget what happened at Delhi in 1984 before your eyes and you are lecturing at Sivaganga, a small town near your home, again who knows your sermon is meant for joining the communities or for dividing them with an eye for securing more votes in next election, otherwise how you could not reconcile this fact for the nine and half years of your rule?
