Rahul Gandhi Misquoted "Poverty is Just a State of Mind" As Out of Context

A media and supporter's clarification (as now a days given after every faulty statement that it was misquoted and as out of context) says as follows : "The remark by Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, alleged to have been made while addressing a function at Allahabad, about poverty being "just a state of mind" has gone viral kicking up a row. Rahul's observation that "Poverty is just a state of mind. It does not mean scarcity of food, money or material things. If one possesses self-confidence, then one can overcome poverty" .

But according to a Fresh report of  PTI's  says : "The Congress leader was quoted by social scientist Narayan to have made the comments, but a closer reading of Rahul's address seems to suggest that his remarks might have been taken out of context. Rahul's comments do not suggest that he denied or downplayed deprivation as a reason for poverty. He merely noted that self confidence can go a long way in combating poverty and this is what NGOs were doing by helping the poor." I under the weaknesses of our system. I will try my best to help the people but unless and until the voice of the marginalised come from within, nothing can be done," quoted Rahul Gandhi as saying."

But even the original version and the subsequent clarification are equally weak in merit and substance, and  that shows the biggest lacuna with this young aspirant for the post of Prime Minister of such a vast and Great nation India, that he does not have extempore  knowledge or expertise or vision or experience of handling the sea of problems, a national leader has to handle every hour.

It negates ones good intentions and wishes and ambitions, as one cannot compete in Olympics with the experience and expertise of a raw player with kid gloves in a village or town. Here the competition is tough and need your own guts. not the borrowed answers from headquarter appointed think tank. A cruel problem like "Poverty in India" need a distinguished and time tasted answer or solution, not a wishful childish sermon. A clarification to the so called "out of context version" must follow with concrete thoughts on the subject.

People of the nation and the voices of the marginalised are shouting loudly enough and they are eagerly awaiting answers for decades but nobody listens to them until an election is on the head, and Congress has to cover this distance very fast to show the result and reply.
