Congress has asked the UP government to ban Amit Shah in the state to maintain peace, as it said that BJP and Shah have got their men in UP from Gujarat to communalise the atmosphere and prepare the field for the saffron party for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Congress and the other so called secular parties indulge in such selective minority appeasement policy during election time, in the disguise of protecting them, by howling loudly of communal tension by saffron parties. Minorities have been fooled to believe that story . The minorities have often opted to polarise behind these fear mongering political elements in the past .
But gradually it has lost its charm and it helped only, to fool and create a distance among a very small fraction of the minority, as reflected in the voting pattern in last election in Gujarat and other places. The moderate and nationalistic Muslims are huge in the society and they have become highly literate and intelligent by experience to choose a correct path ,and it is only a very minute fraction of the disgruntled group of terrorists from the minority community that finds the solace in such undesired minority appeasement.
