Digvijaya said, "What a coincidence blast at Patna on the day of Modi's rally!

Six crude bomb explosions have taken place near the venue of Modi's hunkaar rally in Patna. Five people have been dead so far and 50 others have been injured in the blasts.

BJP leader Sushma Swaraj today condemned the serial blasts in Patna ahead of Narendra Modi's rally saying it was a "gross intelligence failure". She tweeted after the incident."I strongly condemn the serial blasts on occasion of the BJP rally in Patna. This is a gross intelligence failure," .

The Congress general secretary Digvijaya said, "What a coincidence blast at Patna Railway on the day of Modi's rally! Challenge to Nitish government to find the culprit.

Rajiv Pratap Rudy of Bharatiya Janata Party said," Very sad to hear about antisocial elements trying to sabotage your Patna rally. I pray for safety of everyone".

JDU leader Sabir Ali said there are "two parts of the blasts. We condemn the blasts and will not spare anyone behind the incidents. But who has benefited from the incident, who has benefited from its timing," he said. Asked if BJP was behind the blasts, Ali said, "the circumstances are speaking a lot of things. We are not naming any one before the inquiry is complete but circumstances are speaking a lot."

BJP's Deputy Leader in Rajya Sabha, Ravi Shankar Prasad sought a thorough probe into the blasts and said the response of state police was not adequate even though the rally was fixed eight months back.He said,"The police should have taken precautions after the first blast. There were no metal detectors, frisking and other security measures at the rally. The police preparations left much to be desired," .

Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan today slammed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over the bomb blasts in Patna saying he should answer to people over his good governance claims as the incident has "exposed" what law and order exists during the JD (U) rule.

Paswan said,"When Rome was burning. Nero was playing flute. Nitish Kumar was not in Patna, when a massive rally was organised in Patna after the killing of Ranvir Sena chief Brahmeshwar Mukhia. "Today also when Modi was to address a rally in Patna, Kumar was to leave the state capital for Munger on a sensitive day," .

Congress President Sonia Gandhi extended her condolences to the family of the citizens killed in the blasts. Sonia says that such subversive and cowardly acts aim at hitting at our democracy and who ever perpetrates such ghastly acts should be brought to justice at the earliest.

INDIA HONEST regrets, whatever has happened in Patna, is not good for the health of Indian democracy. Does it shows a vibrant democratic ideology of Indians is overtaken by cruelness of the car bomb blasts or terror killings frequented in few of Arab Muslim dominated nations like Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan or Syria or Egypt, its a bad omen.

One important point to note that the two prominent rallies held today, one by Modi in Patna and another by Rahul Gandhi at Delhi, and the Rahul rally started many hours after the incident of bomb blasts. The whole leadership of India has commented or reacted on the incident , but the PM aspirant Rahul have not commented on this.

It is a surprise, a would be future prime minister Rahul Gandhi cannot make any extempore comment even on such a tragic national incident,it seems he is too immature to comment on any national important matter, without feedback from the backroom thinkers.
