Do Salman Khurshid Supports China's Claim on Arunachal Pradesh ?

In response to the incident of preventing to travel to Wuxi, in southern China, for a youth world championship tournament by issuing stapled visas to two archers from Arunachal Pradesh,. our External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid said this "unsavoury and unacceptable’’ incident was the result of differing perceptions about the boundary and the Line of Actual Control.

Mr. Khurshid pointed out that this was not the first time this has happened, and added that over the years both India and China have come to an understanding that there are many areas of convergence where ``we can collaborate, cooperate and move forward’’ while addressing contentious issues through the mechanisms already in place. He added,"We regret that these two young archers could not go to China. This has happened before and it has been resolved; sometimes through diplomatic means and sometimes through the passage of time.’’

Beijing has been issuing stapled visas to applicants from the State since at least 2010. Before that, the Chinese Embassy did not issue any kind of visa for applicants from Arunachal, citing its territorial claims on the State. China claims around 90,000 square kms. in the eastern sector of the disputed boundary, while India sees China as occupying at least 38,000 square kms. in the west. The sixteen rounds of talks over the issue have made little progress, although both sides have committed themselves to maintaining peace and stability in border areas.

However, the political-level engagement, according to External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid was unlikely as both sides are aware that India is going into election mode. He further pointed out that India, too, had not engaged with Islamabad at the political level when Pakistan was headed for an election earlier this year.

INDIA HONEST sincerely wants to know, if Mr Khurshid finds any difference between the "border line perception problem along the McMahon line" and "the territorial claims on the Arunachal State" ?

Or if he has accepted China's claim on Arunachal for the sake of good relations and trade with China ? Why he is citing "that India is going into election mode"? Congress has ruled for ten years and why you have maintained the same practice of shying away from asserting your legitimate claim on your territorial sovereignty ?

Learn some lessons from the smallest countries in South East Asia sea, like Philippines ,Vietnam, Brunei,Taiwan or even Japan, these nations have never bowed down like India and forcefully asserted their claim on various tiny islands against the mighty bullying China in South China Sea .

INDIA HONEST  regrets, even small neighbour friend Nepal, understands the weakness of the present Congress government. Nepal's chief of army staff Gaurav Shumsher Jang Bahadur Rana said China cannot afford to enter India. Rana held the alleged incursion of the Red Army into Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh as a common occurrence. He said,"In all military agreements, there are problems when you draw lines of control on maps using a pen.

(Does this pen line thickness (of perception) converted  so big to engulf the whole state ? It is cowardice shyness of our ruling political party Congress, who are so much pitted with internal corruption accusation, that they don't dare to accuse the intruder in their land.)

Noting that Chinese troops had apparently made inroads up to 10km into Daulat Beg Oldi sector of eastern Ladakh in April and 20km into  Chaglagam  area of  Arunachal Pradesh  in  August  this year  Rana  said,
"Whenever there is a violation, either country then blames it on the thickness of the drawn line. So there are no signs of any concern for India,".

Nepal's chief of army staff Rana, who is on a six-day visit to India concluded correctly :  ""Indian Army is capable of giving strong response to China in case of an attack or war. He, however, said India lacked political will to do so.""
