Communal tensions went high in whole Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh when fresh violence hits Muzaffarnagar, with four persons dead in two incidents of communal violence late Wednesday evening. Police have arrested eight people and have clamped down on the area, imposing section 144 even as conflicting reports emerge on whether the two incidents were related.
According to initial reports, Rajendra Singh, a former soldier, and his wife were in their field when three youth attacked them and killed his wife. Singh then raised an alarm and villagers gathered around leading to a confrontation between the villagers and the attackers youth. In the gun battle three youngsters were killed and rest fled, an official said. The retired soldier is a resident of Mohammadpur Raisingh village, while the youngsters belonged to Hussainpur Kalan village, an officer confirmed.
Another verson of the incident reported that the clash started after a retired soldier belonging to a particular community was beaten up by a group of 10-12 men from another community with gun butts, while he was working in his field located between villages Hussainpur Kalan and Mohammad Pur Raising. But he managed to flee from the spot and informed his community members in Mohammadpur, who cornered the attackers and killed them.
Husainpur Kalan, village pradhan's husband Shahnawaz, however denied and said, "all three deceased were his relatives and they had gone to fields to collect fodder, and the villagers of Mohammadpur kidnapped and lynched them.
Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Mukul Goel confirmed that, prima-facie, the clashes appeared “communal in nature,” and the situation is “tense but under control”.
INDIA HONEST suspects, if CM. Akhilesh and his influential Muslim minister Azam Khan have been able to solve the allegations raised in the last riot. Or otherwise, his subsequent actions, which are alleged to be biased against one community have only been able to put the burning fire under carpet, by his alleged partition actions and speeches.
Moreover, the feelings of revenge , that is still burning inside the communities, have found an option from the suggestions made by Rahul Gandhi of ISI links, in inciting the fresh violence.
Indeed an attack on a former soldier can be initiated or dared only by an enemy of the nation, never by anyone in community rivalry. These leaders should learn lessons, how cruelly the are playing with people passion for few extra votes ?
