HM. Shinde Should Book Rahul Gandhi for Disturbing Communal Harmony

The country’s external intelligence agency, RAW confirmed that , they had made a few intercepts as part of a routine sweep, but did not find any particular spurt in calls or any attempts to “recruit” people. Most of the monitored calls turned out to be routine calls from relatives, the senior intelligence official said that the callers did make an effort to gauge the mood of the people and tried to gain sympathy.

An intelligence officer said,"Just two days ago, there was a meeting between the IB and UP Police intelligence officials where generic inputs about Muzaffarnagar emerging as a ‘breeding ground’ for disaffected youth were shared,” .

U. P. home secretary Kamal Saxena too confirmed that the Intelligence Bureau had not shared any report with the state regarding recruitment and when he said,“the government has not received any input from IB about the ISI being in touch with riot victims in Muzaffarnagar,” .

If this is the official status of UP's Home Ministry and RAW and IB under central government's Home Ministry, then will the minister Sushil Kumar Shinde clarify what is the truth behind the story Rahul Gandhi had said; and that has been taken as an insult to the Muslim youths, by accusing them on their national loyalty.

Gandhi had claimed that he had been briefed about the recruitment of 10 to 15 youths, again specified as the "Muslim youths of Muzaffarnagar riot victim"
has been contacted for recruitment, by an "intelligence official".

This news is attributed to Khinya Ram Bagadia,an additional director with the IB, who had indeed met Gandhi few days back, when he was heading the IB’s unit in Rajasthan to manage security, but he denied briefing him about the Muzaffarnagar youth.

Bagadia said,"I worked in Rajasthan Police and served in IB long ago. I was at Rahul’s rallies in Alwar and Churu  I do not know anything about controversial statement on riots,”. IB officials, however, confirmed Bagadia was still serving with the IB and has recently been posted to Delhi.

The home minister was briefed by top IB and MHA officials that, there is no proof on paper of Pakistani intelligence agencies getting in touch with Muzaffarnagar riot victims and that they were yet to see such an alert. The internal security division of the home ministry, which deals with such alerts, was also not aware of any such input. Shinde said (when asked about Rahul's claim), "I do not want to comment on the issue," .

It is legally confirmed that the " alleged  reference to "10-15 Muslim boys'' constituted an offence under Section 153 (A) of the IPC, as such untruths can disturb communal harmony.

It is a serious matter of national security and communal harmony and integrity, INDIA HONEST asks the Home Minister Shinde must act proactively and charge the offender for the crime, unbiased or not to get afraid of his official or influential clout, so as to work in national interest.

Again reminding Mr. Shinde , when he can ask the state's home secretaries to check the harassment of innocent Muslim youths by police in terror cases, he must verify the present (by Rahul) allegation's truth, and restrict the spread of venom further by Rahul Gandhi, and he must ask  the states to act against the offender.

Shinde in his official capacity as Home Minister, must immediately book Rahul and other Congress leaders for the offence or clarify, if what he said is true without any ambiguity.
