Many of Indian media were flush with the news pronounced by Congress new Spokesman Ajay Maken that Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh has threatened a senior woman journalist who had written an article on Sardar Patel that was critical of the Sangh’s perception about the leader who unified a mass of princely states into Indian Union at the time of Independence.
Congress spokesman Ajay Maken told reporters in New Delhi that he had conveyed to home minister Sushilkumar Shinde concerns expressed by the journalist and has requested him to probe her complaint. He said she had given full details about the threats.
INDIA HONEST raises a simple question is Mr Maken a police inspector in a police thana, where this alleged incident has been reported ? If at all any report is filed, then why those police people have not acted upon that? Even if any threat is given, why he is hiding the details of threat and the reasons of threat ? Without explaining all these, and before any investigation done by the prescribed authority and charge sheet filed, what rights Maken , a political party leader, has got to fire allegation on another organisation linked to a political party ?
One must be protected against threat, but no right to create rumours by making false unsubstantiated allegation. Maken said that journalists in Gujarat were being intimidated through various means for writing articles critical of the government. He said,“Media will lose freedom of expression if Modi comes to power,” .
INDIA HONEST reminds Maken, the same thing many broadcasters have been alleging about Manish Tewari, since he joined the I&B ministry few months back,he threatened of cancelling the licence if Congress line is not toed.He also gifted huge benefits to channels to please them, by forcing digitalising of cables on the consumers.
Congress leaders being disillusioned with rising popularity of Modi, have gone too much low down and are bypassing the huge national problems of the nation and focusing on tiny incidents, searching for whole to nail down their opponents.

Nation must remind the Congress, they are ruling Govt., and they must concentrate on what they have done or what they are doing now as the elected government. You are answerable first for your deeds/misdeeds and failure in performance. Your report card will be verified in 2014 , not of Modi, who is only a state chief minister, out of so many states in India.
Sorry, you are for forgetting this for long.
