SP top Muslim leader Azam Khan met the family of five persons of minority community who were murdered, and he said that he is satisfied with the working of chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. Azam said the day he would feel that Akhilesh was not living up to the expectations, he would be the first person to withdraw from the government.
Congress vice president Rahul recently visited the Muzaffarnagar district following the riots there, he said in Aligarh that he heard first hand accounts from victims who said they harboured no enmity towards the other community.
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi said, “They told me it was political players who had executed this and destroyed them. If Uttar Pradesh is regressing, it is because you are being divided”. And he added in Rampur, that no politicians died in the riots, that it is the common man who suffers the brunt of politically motivated riots. (**IH accepts this is the cruel reality.)
Now the SP leader Azam Khan has joined hands with Ramdev, and said "Congress vice president Rahul is an innocent child...though Ramdev too calls him so, but I will call him innocent as he reads whatever is given to him in writing. He also claimed that Rahul had called saw mills as plywood factories while addressing a rally in the state.
On Rahul's allegation that the SP government is triggering riots,SP leader Azam Khan hit back saying, "it was Congress which laid the foundation of communal clashes."Khan alleged,"Congress ruled the country for more than 50 years after Independence and it triggered numerous riots," .
INDIA HONEST is surprised but also glad, that both of the so called secular parties, Congress and Samajwadi Party have recognised their respective roles that was played by them, since independence, in a close alliance,at both within and outside the parliament and state assembly.
