A media news report by AMIR HAQUE at Lucknow (India Today) on OCTOBER 13, 2013 says : ""Red-faced UP govt. suspends Home Secretary for controversial letter on Ram temple"
{INDIA HONEST wishes to ask critical question on the methodology used by the media editors. Are they reporting the news or putting their thought in the minds of their readers as the "facts of news", or are they writing in the tune of their patrons ?.}
The report by AMIR HAQUE (for India Today, Lucknow) in details (A,B,C,D) :
A) "Uttar Pradesh Home Secretary Sarvesh Chandra Mishra, who signed the controversial letter on rebuilding Ram Temple at Ayodhya was suspended by the state government on Sunday. The decision came a day after the controversial IAS officer was transferred for writing the letter".
IH asks how an important IAS officer, of Uttar Pradesh Home Secretary level becomes controversial ? What is the criteria fixed by AMIR HAQUE of India Today for calling an senior IAS officer as controversial ?
B) Mishra was transferred from Home Department on Saturday and put on waiting over a controversial letter ................... of Ram Temple in Ayodhya on lines of Somnath Temple. The communique of the UP government had created a flutter .................triggered speculations in political circles.The communique issued by Mishra, then secretary to the state government, instructed the DGP and other senior police officers to attend a meeting .......... construction of a temple at Shri Ramjanmabhoomi on the lines of the reconstruction of Somnath Mandir", people called .......all of them police officers ...................to be related to maintenance of law and order.
IH questions the vision of India Today in suggesting that it is a non cognizable offence to utter even the word "reconstruction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya" ; in Hindu majority nation India.
Many of the Indians (both majority and minority) are not too much concerned with the politics played in "if it will or will not or when or should or should not" the reconstruction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya will take place, but it will definitely shame us that our political leaders, though they are dedicated Hindu, they hate or feel ashamed or afraid of taking name of " Ram" just for political reasons. This type of persons are dangerous : because they believe only in divisive politics, they can harm anyone for their political gain.
C) Following the massive controversy after the letter, a red-faced SP government had termed it an 'error' and promised action against the guilty.
INDIA HONEST questions if the reporter of India Today has seen the face of the SP government ? Was it red faced or green faced ? How it can be "red", that belongs to Left ? Do the reporter wants to confirm this news that MSY is going for Third Front ? Is this the meaning , which we poor knowledge readers, who are not capable of reading between the lines should mean?
IH feels sorry for this extreme downfall in self dignity and standard of politics in a decade .
D) Even, Principal Secretary (Home) R.M. Srivastava had to apologise for the "error" and take responsibility for the folly of 'junior level' officials. Srivastava had said,"There are errors in the letter issued on October 9 by the department for convening the meeting and parts of intelligence input on the VHP sponsored Sankalp Diwas on October 18, which should not have been made public, got mentioned in it, the language used in the letter is not correct," .
INDIA HONEST requests India Today don't allow such reporters to report on the battle field at border; because they will make our Generals seen as apologising to enemy Pakistan for error of calling "the terrorists as Pakistani regular army man in civilian dress". Then any proud Indian will be ashamed, and he won't know whom to ask for apology ?
