It is critical time the political leaders have to give their piece of mind, to the growing incidents of communal terrorism in India, supported by foreign elements. These incidents are increasingly destroying the basic thread of one nation, and the unity among the diversity ideology and the inherent notion of a great democracy, that we had been propagating for last seven decades.
The "growing incidences" of killings and terror attacks, have at least two decade old history, or to say precisely from nineties after Babri Maszid demolition , though the sporadic to regular infiltrations to attack, and venomous incitements to violence and killings in the name of jihad for Kashmiri people, remained unabated since the birth of one unnatural division of India.
The first five decades of newly born India's national leadership maintained an anonymous dictum on foreign relation policy with unsuccessful theories of Panchsheel and non-alignment, while the world flourished/doomed with cold war between NATO alignment and Communist groupings.
In the last two decades, many of the old projections took a beating world wide, while Arab-Muslim dominated religious jihad had taken prominence, starting with uprising in Iran to now in Egypt/Syria, and that took turn in most of the nations in western Asia-Arab and Africa.
The non aligned role of India in Iraq/Afghanistan and similarly remaining aloof from Arab has saved the day for India, but India has not grown its stature as a growing Super Power to anywhere.
The growing incidence of terrorism in India has many dimensions, prominently the foreign hands like ISI, and other terror outfits based in Pakistan, including IM , Lashkare Toyba and others including LTTE in Srilanka, but still the bigger moral support is unconsciously generated by the Indian political leadership, by their internal allegations and cross allegations just for the sake of minority or linguistic or community appeasement, at the cost of national interest and unity. The sense of nation first has very little value in the eyes of these national leaders, that is of course anti national and regrettable.
We must look ,judge and learn in part some of the nationalism angle from one of would be super power China, when they replaced the top army general in the volatile northwestern region of Xinjiang following a failed terrorist strike in the heart of the capital Beijing, Peng Yong was also relieved of his position on the party's regional standing committee.
The Chinese government blamed the attack on Islamic extremists seeking independence for the Turkic Muslim Uighur minority in Xinjiang. Police identified the three attackers and five alleged co-conspirators as members of the Turkic Muslim Uighur ethnic group native to Xinjiang.
While in India, we have not learnt any lesson from the Patna bomb blast, which had the dangerous potential of killing thousand of innocents in the resulting stampede, just because they were supporters of a political opponent. This anti people crude politics of protecting the terrorist will continue to claim higher cost in future from the innocent victims in India.
As indirectly backed up, IM is getting ready with more attacks, that is confirmed by the report from Ranchi, "Jharkhand Police today recovered nine live bombs fitted with timers from a lodge in the state capital, which matched with those used in the Patna blasts that killed six people and left over 80 wounded ,".
INDIA HONEST warns the coming election may turn out to be the bloodiest one for the lack of nationalism among the political parties.
