India Today published five articles in a row on 24th March 2014, all mentioning AAP's Arvind Kajriwal related incidents and even most were negative, but that served Kejriwal's objective of remaining in media limelight.
In another attack on media he alleged that most of the media is paid media,he said ,"the "majority" of the media which is promoting Narendra Modi,as they were being financially supported by the BJP prime ministerial candidate".
In another news reported by the media house "India Today" related to the same AAP and Kejriwal involvement in an incident that took place at Dharuhera, where a senior journalist was manhandled by a group of AAP activists when senior journalist objected to alleged "insult of the national flag" by AAP leaders and supporters.
The reluctant and angered AAP leader Kejriwal ultimately chose to offer an apology and asked the media persons to treat the matter as a "closed chapter".
The third prominent reported by the media house "india today " related to the Kejriwal's road show at Agrasen Chowk where they were shown black flags by some Shiv Sena activists led by local leader Shammi Sharma, who denounced AAP for allegedly maligning the image of Indian flag and the BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
The fourth incident prominently related to aap and kejriwal that was prominently reported in the "India Today" was related to the MP court asking cops to book Kejriwal for 'insulting' tricolour. Taking a dim view of the complaint, the court on Saturday asked police to register case against Kejriwal, Rajmohan Gandhi, Ashutosh, Shazia Ilmi, AAP Sagar Lok Sabha seat nominee Atul Mishra, and few party workers, the petitioner counsel Alok Sharma reportedly told to India Today.
INDIA HONEST worries if this will be the trend of reporting, even by a prestigious news media like "India Today", grossly engaging in promoting "Petty and Pity" news, neglecting national importance matters, then better the media should start playing "Sas or Bahu" serials, even that will serve some social purpose of entertaining the women folk of the nation.
