A picture of Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, meeting with Gautam Adani, the billionaire infrastructure-builder as published by a newspaper in Gujarat has become viral in social media.
The meeting dates back to June 2009 when Vadra had gone to Mundra in Kutch district of Gujarat to have business discussion on the projects undertaken by the Adani group. Vadra had reached Kutch by the private aircraft of Adani.
Notably, Congress accuses Modi of having close ties with Adani. The Gujarat CM has often been targeted by the Congress for travelling in jets rented by Adani. But revelation of these photographs has made BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman seeking a response from Congress on this.
In a bid to sideline itself over the issue, Congress said it has no information about any such meeting between Vadra and Adani. Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury tried to water down the issue, saying the party did not know anything about the meeting. Chowdhury said, Vadra meets a lot of businessmen,and surprisingly questioned that "it was wrong to give political colour to the issue".

The question now being asked, why Rahul has all of a sudden,decided to question Adani's relations with Narendra Modi, who is dealing only as the CM of the state (Gujarat), where important projects of Adani group are established ?
If Rahul wants to save Vadra on something or otherwise if he wants to hide the fact that Vadra is annoyed with Sonia Gandhi, even refusing to support the Gandhi family in this election ?
Or if Rahul wants to placate Vadra on his broken deal with Adani ? People want to know, why Adani is being targeted simultaneously by Kajriwal and Rahul both in this election ?
