If Hindus of India are No More Secular ? Sonia Gandhi Asks Muslim Leaders to ensure Secular Votes do not Split .

Sonia Gandhi yesterday met with hereditary cleric of one of Delhi’s important mosques who was leading a delegation and the meeting took place at Gandhi's 10 Janpath residence yesterday, when the Congress leader Ahmed Patel and secretary of Jama Masjid Foundation Rahat Mahmood Chaudhury were also present .In the meeting Congress President Sonia Gandhi asked the Muslim Cleric Syed Ahmed Bukhari to ensure that secular votes did not split in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

A move hailed as Congress’ strong step to lure votes from the 160-million strong Muslim community. It is believed that with the backing from Bukhari, one of the influential members in the Muslim community, Congress could indeed increase their Muslim vote share notably.

In order to woo the Muslim youth, Sonia said that National Investigation Agency has been directed to conduct thorough probe into all terror cases without being discriminating.

Sonia also said the Muslims cannot ever deny Congress’ concern about them. She said the party has brought out many welfare schemes for the minority communities, but she also sympathised acknowledging complaints that people had over the implementation of the schemes. Sonia said the party was committed to ensure that schemes are effectively implemented.

Sources close to Bukhari said a decision to support Congress has been finalised and an official announcement is likely to come on Friday.

INDIA HONEST regrets the gross injustice on the Hindu majority of India that is done by Congress President Sonia Gandhi when she made the provocative appeal Muslim leaders to ensure secular votes do not split .Do Sonia Gandhi do not consider Hindus and other communities in whole as communal ? Will Congress party survive a single day if their president specifically says to the minority Muslim leaders that secular votes should be polarised against majority Hindus, and they should be united and vote for only in favour of Congress ?

BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar accused the Congress of pursuing “communal” politics and said, “Congress is appealing to Muslims to vote on communal and religious grounds. What kind of secularism is this? This is vote back politics. The EC should take suo motu cognisance of this,”.

Times Now reports on the eve of voting for 2014 Lok Sabha elections begins, that the so called secular parties, the Congress, SP and BSP have gone after the Muslim vote by reaching out to Muslim Cleric Syed Ahmed Bukhari. The huge question raised,is India heading towards a polarised electorate this summer?

INDIA HONEST asks that there is no more any need to argue the EC to take suo motu cognisance of this,”,as suggested by the BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar. What is the need to , when Congress has declared the majority or non Muslim communities as communal ? Why not instead open the eyes of majority Hindus, the ultimate voters, on Congress ?

Prakash Javadekar better ask the Hindus to note down their status as declared by the Congress president Sonia Gandhi, while he must also remind the Muslim brother of their misuse by these so called secular leaders for several decades , just for the sake of votes only during election, as demonstrated of their plight as shown by the Sachar panel data.

IH warns if this is not polarisation of minorities , effecting a crude attempt to create divide among the  communities by Congress, just as the British used to do before independence, what else will that be.

A dangerous question now arises , "Will Congress' huge Leaning towards Muslim Voters, counting them specifically as secular, will not force the majority  Hindus to take another look on Congress , who has declared them as only communal ?
