Activist Madhu Kishwar in an exclusive interview to CNN-IBN said the news about the resignation of Delhi University VC Dinesh Singh is false and it is being done to pressurise him to get out of the way.
Kishwar said, "The VC has authorised me to speak to the media and tell the media that he has not resigned. He is under tremendous pressure. Yesterday the Union HRD minister kept him waiting in her office for an hour and did not meet him. Finally, only UGC officials met him. In fact, UGC chairman Ved Prakash threatened him to quit or better remain prepared to face a number of FIRs which will be filed against him. The VC told me that he is willing to fight the battle out as an individual even if he is thrown out," .
She further added, "The VC is definitely sticking it out. It is a dangerous thing to happen that the Union HRD minister is threatening the head of an university through a bunch of officials,".
Kishwar hoped that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not fail to deliver in such a critical moment and said,"I hope he doesn't fail us. We took his promise seriously that he would introduce major reforms in the education sector. I hope the PM does not let us down. I don't know what Smriti Irani has against this VC," .
INDIA HONEST wonders, that which of the news is correct, while the whole bunch of media has confirmed the news of VC resignation, but the anti Irani activist Kishwar is hell bent on searching every opportunity to hit Irani, by announcing twisting stories through media. The activist seems to have lost sense in her such aggressive activism and may also soon loose trust of many of her fan, at least the rejoicing students will never forgive Kishwar's cheap politics of being a critic only to oppose some one on personal grounds .It seems that Kishwar is following the Kajriwal's drama style only to be in the limelight at the news media.
