Rahul Gandhi, in Lok Sabha, said yesterday that Narendra Modi led NDA govt closed a Food Park in Amethi to take revenge with people of Amethi and him. But the Truth and bare facts are just opposite :
1) Food Park was first mooted in the year 2010. After 7 yrs of UPA (mis) rule and on the last few dying days, Cong remembered to give something to Amethi. The backward district in UP, which has been sending The First Family for decades.
2) The Food Park was given 7 extensions by UPA. Forget starting business, they couldn't even procure land for the project (You see how difficult it is to procure land, yet the same family opposes Land Bill).
3) In February 2014, (3 months before final departure) it was UPA & not MODI who set the condition that if the project is not able to meet necessary conditions, project will stand cancelled by end of financial year, i.e., 31 March 2014.

Rahul Gandhi – preposterous propagandist , Amethi Food Park – a liar in Lok Sabha, following steps of Arvind Kejriwal of AAP as Hit and Run with false allegations.
1- Amethi Food Park in Amethi was a ploy by Rahul Gandhi and Congress to hoodwink the people of Amethi and India and it is still continuing in Lok Sabha.
2- Conceived in 2008 and approved by UPA in 2010, to be completed in 2 years with 40 food processing units with one for Potato into potato chips. 8 extensions were given but land remained untouched till December 2013. Foundation stone was laid in December 2013, just before the Election-2014 and that was only activity in the Amethi Food Park land. What a way to fool people of Amethi for votes?
3- UPA-Congress led government refused to provide GAS at concessional rates and Congress government itself cancelled the whole project as no one was interested to invest in Amethi as it was not viable.
4- Rahul Gandhi blamed prime minister Modi in Lok Sabha of revenge politics for the cancellation of Amethi Food Park but it was otherwise as Congress government of Manmohan Singh has already cancelled the project long before Modi sarkar came in to power.
5- NDA minister Srimati H. Kaur rightly asserted in Lok Sabha of all the above facts very forcefully which are on record.
