India Honest is trying its best to read the mood and mind of people of nation, a nation well known for its diversity of its people, in thoughts , religions, faiths, castes and communities. A reading of different comments on social media gives a glimpse of the growing change in ideas and thoughts of people, which we need to understand to plan and make a nation united by peaceful people working to create a strong and proud nation. Few comments seen are as follows :
Vineet Nanda : And the worrying factor is that in a country with a straight Hindu majority, we still have to pay money to save ourselves from minorities. We can't shout "Jai Shri Ram" without being labelled communal.
I would like to share an incident- I am a trainer, and there was a time when I was giving a training on Anger Management, when the topic was of non-violence. I thought of connecting it with Ahimsa. The classroom had a majority of Hindus. When I said- "Sanatan Dharma preaches...", I could immediately hear squeaky chairs and notice queasy faces. I switched to Buddhism. Lo and Behold! Smiles were back! We are made to feel inferior in our own country.
In our country, "Hindu Muslim isaai sab bhai" isn't secularism. In our country secularism is "Muslim Isaai, bhai bhai. Hindu kasaai". If you don't agree, you are communal. We taught the lesson of peaceful co-existence, and we are communal. Invasion and Conversion isn't.
Poonam Sri : Previous governments has done so much appeasement of one particular community because of that Hindus started feeling neglected in our own country, in last ten years, after Sonia took the command of congress, Hindus felt so much insulted, there are lots of NGO,s are working for conversions, I know many people who are doing brain wash of poor people to convert into Christianity..it is high time for Hindus to unite and help the government so that missionary's just leave India as soon as possible.
Vineet Nanda : We are a country that is full of people who aren't aware of their real history and culture. We are being taught lies in schools day in and day out. What else do you expect?
No wonder majority of the patriots in our army are from small towns, as they still have state-run vernacular medium schools where teachers still teach them basic but correct history and quote local examples of valour.
The city-bred children are so brainwashed into the convent-educated, christian-funded education, that they are blind to reality. Who cares what Joan of Arc did when we have Rani Laxmi Bai in our country!
Manish Goyal :well to make students realise the importance of Hinduism in India, the change is need to be brought in education! Childrens must learn about our Hindu national heroes! none of the children know about magadh who had an army seeing which even sikandar has goosebumps! childrens don't even know who was vikramaditya.. but the know the names of all "lords" from British era! The change must be brought from bottom! just tell the children the true history of India and they themselves will understand value of Hinduism.
Neeraj Singh : Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism and all dharmic religions are fine because - 1) they have a Hindu origin and, 2) they don't preach hatred, violence and apartheid. They are religion of the land and it's good that Buddhism is spreading because of simplified knowledge. Simplification of knowledge is needed in the case of Hinduism. We need such centres everywhere that could teach people Hinduism and its glorious philosophy.
Chandra Sekhar Padala : Actually our religion is called as 'Sanatana Dharma' but foreigners named it as Hinduism. We always think of peace, that's the reason why we say "Om Shanthi Shanthi Shanthi". But this is the peak time we should unite and share knowledge with the next generations, especially kids. To do that first of all we should respect our religion and at least read/listen Ramayana, Maha Bharatha and Bhagavatham instead of wasting our time on TV and movies.
Piyush Pitroda : Nanda saheb wait till we become minority which is not far out. As Asia's population set to rise by another billion in next 50 yrs. Than we won't even have chance to complain. It's time to have 2 child policy and no nonsense attitude. I can see civil war and mass destruction. Only today's generation can stop this by hook or crook. Time to be proactive.
Nityanand Rao : The root cause of our basic ill is found in deifying Mr. Mohandas Gandhi beyond reasonable limits. He was the father of Muslim appeasement. He along with jawaharlal have brought this nation to this peril.
