"Stop Goonda Raj", It is the heading of editorial in newspaper on UP Akilesh government .( the details are as :Akhilesh government must sack and prosecute minister accused of conspiring to murder scribe, is the popular demand. The horrific murder of Shahjahanpur-based journalist Jagendra Singh who was set on fire allegedly by goons and policemen loyal to UP minister for dairy development Ram Murti Verma highlights the shocking state of lawlessness under chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and the SP government. Singh ran a news-based Facebook page and had written several posts implicating Verma in nefarious activities. In one such post Verma and his accomplices are accused of raping a woman who had subsequently written to court seeking justice. )
Another headline : "West Bengal is turning a terror hub as this is the sixth attack in last four months.Speaking about the same, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Siddharth Nath Singh accused the Mamata Banerjee government of playing communal politics. “TMC is playing communal politics and a strict action should be taken. There is no law or order in Bengal,” he said while speaking to NewsX.
It is time for another editorial headline,"Stop Communal Goonda Raj", and if it comes for Bengal, it will be a bitter shame. Bengal was regarded as communally most peaceful state during the entire Left rule, and so it was supposed to be, in the first three years of TMC rule, but the things have changed adversely since the big surge taken by BJP in last Loksabha Election.
The most relevant question now is, was this position changed by the entry of BJP ? Or it was the unseen fire burning in the hearts, or communities were unequally pressed to keep their mouth shut ? Or was it the result of extra polarisation tactics that have allowed this demonising role being played by one community on another community ?
An answer has to be searched before long or it will create big scar on the relationship between the communities. And here is the big danger, of interference made possible for the few radicals, who are well powered by the Jamatis, playing a horrific damaging role in the harmony between the communities and taking control of ugly communal politics.
