The question is very valid. The 1984 Sikh genocide was organised by members of Congress in response to assassination of Indira Gandhi and nearly 3000 Sikhs were massacred. Notable Congress leader H.K.L. Bhagat,Jagdish Tytler,Sajjan Kumar were involved.CBI is of the opinion that the acts of violence were organised with the support from the then Delhi Police and some Central Govt officials.
