In the Village of "Sona Kani", a remote area of Habra, last night, when we visited, met with local police guarding a Mandap. When asked about it I was told that local Muslims were hell bent with not allowing Puja in that village. "Sona Kani" is a MUslim majority small village with just 50 odds Hindu families who are migrated Hindus from Bangladesh.
Similar incident happened last year with "Harinaam Sankirtan" in the same village. It went far to have skirmish between two communities and the case is in court. Four months ago "Naam Samkirtan" took place and I was present all 2 days and deliberated "Geeta Prabachan". All went peacefully.
These year around 500 mob destroyed the Puja Pandal under construction and allegedly shouted "Pakistan Jindabad" standing on the main Tulshi alter. Hindus in "Sona Kani" village are conducting Puja in a make shift Pandal some meters away under police Guard.
I asked the police officer--if the Hindus in that village are leaving in a Hindu Majority India or Pakistan? There no answer but a apologetic smile.
I managed to shot only two pictures without the notice of the police who are camping there.

Though I am a physician, a Psychiatrist, but sometimes I like to write. In fact, I am a published author of 5 books . As usual, like other writers, I sometime open my mind and invite free thought to indulge in what can happen in future.
My free thoughts tells me, Like the Hindus in Bangladesh, which has reduced from 40 millions in 1947 to just 8 millions in 2015 , the Hindus in West Bengal will suffer the same fate. The likely scenario is as follows---
1. Leftist intellectuals will continue denigrating anything with Hinduism in such a manner that after may be 25 years from now, almost 50% of the population with Hindu parentage will become like a namesake Hindus. They will never know what Hinduism is (was) and who they are. I call them "The Hybrid Hindus".
2. The Muslim population will grow from present 28% to 40% in next 25 years and that will give them the political advantage to rule this state, with the active support of the "Intellectual Leftist and other 'Beef lovers'.
3 From left over 10% coward Hindus, many will leave (migrate) to other Indian state or overseas reducing the the 'Meek Hindu' population drastically.
4. The left over Hindu population will compete between themselves to put up politicians who will attire like Muslims and organise 'beef eating festivals' to prove how much liberal they are to garner favour from the 'Ruling Islamic Party' or 'United Front'
.
5.Hindu festivals will be allowed still but will need to pay special tax for it (remember Jijiya during Islamic rule).
6. The meek coward remaining Hindus will finally be happy as they will live like 'slaves' as they were habituated with the life style since Bengal was over ran by Iktiar-Ud-din-Mohammed Bin -Baktiar Khilji.
NB- Thank God ,by then I will not be alive to become a "Humbug Hindu Refugee", as I was known since I was 16 years old and migrated to India from my place of birth in 1964.
