RaGa is True, it is Vendetta Similar to Raj Narayan's Vendetta.Challenging Indira Gandhi's Election in Court in 1975.

Rahul Gandhi  said, "This is 100 per cent political vendatta coming out of the PMO. I have full faith in Indian judiciary:We all know who is threatening judiciary, said Rahul Gandhi on Naidu's remarks that Congress is threatening judiciary through Parliament.

BJP's Nalin Kohli replied to Rahul "It is very unfortunate to call court order a political vendetta and pulling in the PM".

Yes, India Honest agrees completely with Rahul Gandhi that it is 100 per cent political vendetta coming out of the PMO, as similar as the vendetta Late Raj Narain had thrown on Late Indira Gandhi in June 1975 by challenging her election in Allahabad High Court and nullifying her election.

Raj Narayan accused Indira Gandhi of corrupt electoral practises and filed an election petition against her. The Allahabad High Court on 12 June 1975 upheld the accusations and set aside the election of Indira Gandhi and also disqualified her to contest Lok Sabha election for next 6 years.

India Honest reminds that the Allahabad High Court's 1975 verdict of disqualification of Indira Gandhi, in spite of Congress making an haste attempt by changing the law itself by enacting the 39thth Constitution Amendment, was the main reason behind declaration of emergency in 1975 by Indira Gandhi.

After getting defeat in the Allahabad Loksabha Elections, Raj Narayan lodged cases of election fraud and use of state machinery for election purposes against Mrs. Gandhi in the Allahabad High Court.

On June 12, 1975, Justice Jagmohanlal Sinha of the Allahabad High Court found the Prime Minister guilty on the charge of misuse of government machinery for her election campaign. The court declared her election null and void. She was also unseated her from her seat in the Lok Sabha. The high court also banned her from contesting any election for an additional six years.

The Allahabad High Court found Indira Gandhi guilty of electoral malpractices, and she declared national Emergency on June 26, announcing on AIR that it was a necessary response to the "deep and widespread conspiracy which has been brewing ever since I began to introduce certain progressive measures of benefit to the common man and woman of India".

Thousands, including Opposition firebrands like Jayaprakash Narayan, George Fernandes, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, were held under MISA-the Maintenance of Internal Security Act, dubbed the Maintenance of Indira and Sanjay Act.
