Presstitutes Exposed: Modi did not compare “Kerala to Somalia”- Media itself did.

As you can see in his speech that “He did not compare Kerala with Somalia”. He only said that the “Child Death Rate” in Schedule Tribes in Kerala is more dangerous than in Somalia. Which is true if we go according to the News Paper reports. : Infant Mortality rate in Kerala in General is 12/1000, among ST in Kerala is 65/1000 while in Somalia is 80/1000. So is not 65 deaths per 1000 kids birth is comparable to Somalia?

This is not Modi’s Report. This is all published in Media. Now see the reports of Media in the past on this issue: This image was published in “Matrabhumi” in Malyalam and then was picked by every Media house and News Channel. The picture showed four children in a garbage yard at Peravoor in Kannur, seemingly foraging for food.

                                

Modi said at the rally, “The unemployment rate in Kerala is at least three times higher than the national average. Infant mortality rate among the scheduled tribe (ST) community in Kerala is worse than Somalia. The state can meet only 13% of their requirement of agricultural products. Even after 70 years of independence, Kerala depends on other states for 70% of its power requirements. Similarly, most of the youth in Kerala are forced to leave their home state in search of jobs. Only through overall development, the state could be brought back to its past glory,” 

Why many more media reporting justifies labelling them as #Presstitutes ? They twist the news to create a different meaning , only to butter the wishes of their political lords. 

India Honest dares ( one such part of the media) the media  to prove, if they are not working  with an hidden agenda ? Let they rebut the allegation often put on them that they present paid news for favour. The onus is on them to prove themselves as honest and not #Presstitutes and show to the nation that they are not making false or twisted news reports.

Infant mortality in the state is lowest in the country, almost 1/3rd of the national average; comparing that with Somalia, at 85 deaths, shows disconnect.The Prime Minister said that infant mortality rate among scheduled tribes (ST) is worse than that of Somalia. An infant mortality rate is the number of deaths per 1,000 live births. The number is a reflection of health care facilities in the state, in general, and pre- and post-natal care in particular. 



As per latest data available from the ministry of tribal affairs, infant mortality rate among scheduled tribes in Kerala was 60 deaths per 1,000 births. Compared to that, the overall infant mortality rate in the state is just at 12 deaths per 1,000 — the lowest in the country —, according to data stated in the Economic Survey 2015-16. The case for comparison, Somalia, has an infant mortality rate of 85, data from World Bank reveals.
