बिहार के मोतिहारी में एक नवविवाहिता लड़की से 13 जून को बलात्कार हुआ था। आरोप समीउल्ला नाम के एक गुंडे और उसके साथियों पर है। दरिंदों ने लड़की के साथ गैंगरेप किया और बेहोश हालत में उसे सड़क पर फेंक कर भाग गए। लड़की के शरीर के प्राइवेट पार्ट्स में पिस्तौल और लकड़ी घुसाने की कोशिश की गई थी। इस वजह से इसे बिहार का निर्भया कांड कहा जा रहा है। पीड़ित लड़की मोतिहारी के अस्पताल में भर्ती है।
आरोपी को बचाने की कोशिश में पुलिस
इस केस में आरोपी समीउल्ला को पुलिस ने पूरे 9 दिन के बाद गिरफ्तार किया। उसके बाकी सभी साथी पकड़े जा चुके हैं। लेकिन पुलिस ने उन पर सिर्फ बलात्कार की कोशिश का आरोप लगाया है। आरोप है कि एक खास संप्रदाय को नाराज न करने की नीयत से बिहार सरकार मामले की लीपापोती कर रही है। अस्पताल के डॉक्टरों पर दबाव डलवा कर यह मेडिकल रिपोर्ट दिलवाई गई है कि लड़की से बलात्कार हुआ ही नहीं है। जबकि उसी अस्पताल की महिला डॉक्टरों ने माना है कि लड़की के अंदरुनी अंगों में गहरी चोटें हैं।
राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग की टीम पहुंची
इस मामले में गृह मंत्रालय ने बिहार सरकार से रिपोर्ट मांगी है। उधर राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग की सदस्य सुषमा शाह जब जांच के लिए मोतिहारी के अस्पताल पहुंचीं तो वहां के हालात देखकर दंग रह गईं। पीड़ित और उसकी मां को केस वापस लेने और कुछ भी न बताने की धमकी दी गई थी। जब सुषमा शाह ने खुद लड़की की जांच की तो उन्होंने पाया कि उसके शरीर के अंग बुरी तरह घायल हैं। जबकि डॉक्टरों ने मेडिकल रिपोर्ट में इसका जिक्र तक नहीं किया था। जब उन्होंने इस बारे में डॉक्टरों और प्रशासन से बात करनी चाही तो अस्पताल के सुपरिटेंडेंट और जिले के एसपी मौके से भाग गए।
