The Congress party has largely desisted from naming its chief ministerial candidate in poll-bound states in the past. But it made an exception in Uttar Pradesh by naming Sheila Dikshit (78) as its CM face. Reacting to her appointment as UP CM face, Dikshit said it’s a big responsibility. Dikshit’s choice for the top post comes amid speculations that Prashant Kishore, who has been roped in as the party’s poll strategist for Uttar Pradesh, is of the view that a Brahmin face represents the Congress in the politically crucial state. Dikshit is the daughter-in-law of prominent Congress leader from Uttar Pradesh Uma Shankar Dikshit, who was a Brahmin face and had served as a union minister and governor for a long time.

After being involved in Delhi , Sheila Dikshit is being made a scape goat in Uttar Pradesh as Congress will not even win ten percent of the seats. It is just an exercise in futile. Hood winking people by Congress will not work any more. Corruption are the main earning plank of Congress. Congress is well aware of its position in Uttar Pradesh, hence putting those who are either communal or criminal or scam involved or big boasting mouth of Rs.5. per meal in Mumbai. My God , it is very horrific. Imran Massod publicly claimed to cut Narendra Modi in 2014 that he will cut him in BOTI-BOTI. What a butchered mind frame people is vice president of Congress in Uttar Pradesh? People of Uttar Pradesh you are now in bad hands of Congress to kill you. Spare yourself and show them the door.
