Sir, the respected Editor-in-Chief of Tehelka Tarun Tejpal, will you please file a request plea to the court, to order the release of those accused in "Nirbhaya Rape Case", as they have already stayed away from their work place for more than six months, doing the atonement ?
Tehelka Managing editor Shoma Chaudhary was informed by an email from the female journalist, accusing Tejpal of sexually assaulting her twice in one week. In her letter, she wrote, " From the very first moment, I wanted to call you, or find you and tell you what he had done to me., I had to process the fact that it was Tarun who molested me —my father's ex colleague and friend, Tiya's dad, and someone I had so deeply respected and admired for so many years."
Point of note here is that, when compared with Nirbhaya,one find that in case of Nirbhaya, there was one assault only, but here Tejpal has assaulted twice, to a young girl equal to be her daughter, also being the daughter of his friend and colleague, drawing the conclusion that the demon in Tarun was more horrible and anti social, then compared with the Nirbhaya accused.
So,as a respected promoter-editor of such a big famed, serious scandal investigating firm Tehelka,why you should not file an appeal to the court to allow the Nirbhaya accused, to go for self chosen atonement for at least six months or maximum one years, yes Shoma madam, will not this will be reasonable ?
Moreover, reacting fast, Shoma Choudhary,the managing editor of the news-magazine,announced to the entire media,(including to the Tehalka's half brother "THE COBRA-POST) only the last night the fact about the whole sexual assualt, and concluded that "This is an internal matter. The journalist concerned is satisfied with the action taken.".
Shoma Choudhary, who is for sure hand-in-gloves with the owner Tarun, created an remarkable history of investigation, when she received information of serious cognizable offence on her mail box, investigated it fast and asked the accused to choose his own cource of punishment, and also gave the final verdict, along with the acceptance certificate from the victim, all in a day. Is not it a world recod book entry information ?
Thanks God, how fast we Indians have become ? Now this should set an example for all the crimes done by big hot-shots, specially for the media men, political Netas, and more importantly for honest and hard working persons of those media channels, which for last six months could not resolve another demon case of Asharam. They must learn the trick of the media trade from the intelligent Shoma Choudhary, and enrich them selves for future incidents.
Filmmaker and actor Farhan Akhtar tweeted quite in contradiction to his father, "Woke up to the shocking news of Tarun Tejpal!! A person in his position has to live by the ethical standard he demands of others! Sad,". Sorry Farhan, you are wrong,when seeing your father having apprecated Tejpal ; and the big shot Shoma Choudhary has also delivered her verdict of instant justice. Farhan now don't argue, otherwise you will be forcing the wastage of at least five to ten hours of valuable time of many media house, in this unwanted debate, where their own half brother is accused .
