The million $ question is : " Are we going to see in 2014 more young faces in top echelon "?

Anil Chaudhary, Congress MLA, Dallupura said some times ago in an interview that, "Youth will play defining role in 2014 general election".

He said, there are considerably good number of youth leaders today, but none seems to be playing defining role like Rahul Gadhi.Rahul Ji is there and he is playing defining role. Today, every youth consider him as an icon. There is no youth leader today in any political party who can be compared with him. And there are good numbers of other youth leaders who have been given chance by Congress party, not only at centre but also at state level and majority of them are playing crucial role.

He said, "Leaders like Jyotiraditya Scindia, Jitin Prasada, Sachin Pilot, Meenakshi Natrajan, Naveen Jindal, Priya Dutt, Milind Deora, Manicka Tagore and others are very active at centre and apart from that there are many young MLAs who are playing important role and I believe in 2014 general election, youth will play defining role. There are many young leaders who is yet to be spotted and I am sure down the line in future you will notice them".

Anil Chaudhary, Congress MLA disagreed that as most of the  above names are son or grandson of politicians, even though it is  possible for a young person to get into politics without Godfather.

He said,"To get born in a particular family is not an offence, therefore all those people whose parents or grandparents were into politics is an assets. There are many leaders like Meenakshi Natrajan, Manicka Tagore, Ashok Tanwar, whose parents were not politician. Even, there was no one from my family in politics, but party allowed me to contest election, they came here and supported me at all stages of my political inning so far".

He assured,"Therefore I believe that there is no harm if someone’s family have been into politics and their kids want to join politics. Its happen in another profession also, for example there are many doctors and IAS officers, if their kids want to be a doctor or IAS officer, there should not be any problem, if they have requisite qualifications".

INDIA HONEST agrees that in 2014 general election, youth will play an important role, but the million $ question is : " Are we going to see some young faces in top echelon "?
