A Noble step to Recognise the Value of Person Serving for Nation

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal  announced in one of the highest such compensations of Rs 1 crore  for the slain Delhi Police constable who was allegedly beaten to death by suspected liquor mafia in Ghitorni area of South Delhi last week.

His letter to Sabita, wife of deceased Vinod Kumar, Mr. Kejriwal said the government will provide all possible help to the family besides the compensation, that was a recognition, much  bigger than the huge amount of compensation,of the importance of the services an Indian, doing for the nation, while even risking his life.

Kumar was beaten to death by the assailants when he accompanied a team of excise department officials during a raid in Ghitorni on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday. Kumar was on deputation with the Excise Department of Delhi government.

Police said the raiding party had gone to the area after receiving a tip-off that a few people were selling illegal liquor. They said when the excise team tried to nab the accused, their associates attacked them with hockey sticks and sharp weapons.Kumar along with another constable received injuries and they were taken to AIIMS. Kumar succumbed to injuries in the hospital.

INDIA HONEST accepts that though the team of AAP may not last its full tenure, but few of their acts will open up the "Value of ordinary Patriotic Indians", which the other so called secular political leaders will be forced to follow for their survival in this "decade of change".
