Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi reacted very sharp rather in most acrimonious style on Sunday, after the most negative poll results were declared, almost a big rout for Congress, he said that election results have given a message for the Congress party. He said, "Election results have given us a message; the Congress will transform itself to stand up to it."
Rahul further said, "Aam Aadmi Party's victory forces us to think politics in a way different from the traditional way the major parties have been doing. After AAP success, Congress is going to involve the youth in a way you cannot imagine."
While the Congress President Sonia Gandhi said, stating that the party was "very very disappointed" over the assembly results in four states, "there was a need to do "deep introspection".
The top leadership of the Congress accepting the people's verdict with "humility", today pledged to transform the party ahead of 2014 Lok Sabha polls for which it would announce its Prime Ministerial candidate "at the opportune time".

As usual the top leadership is still dependent on the old practice of "accusation of communalism for BJP", as the main weapon for the winning votes in any election .
