It has been the practise of the Congress party through out their 65 year old rule , that each of their act/step has an hidden objective to see, how it will help them in winning the incoming election ? Their leaders are more interested in securing the power, rather then solving the problem or planning for the long time benefit and welfare of the nation and people.
So Congress has preferably lingered most of the problems till the last moment and then haphazardly tries to do something , just to show case it as an achievement before an election . And the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation draft bill is no exception. It was never taken, discussed in true perspective, it was lingered for long period and just at the corner of election , it has been pushed to get some seats out of Telangana.
This is not only blackmail/injustice to not only Andhra/Seemandhra but to the entire nation, as what is being done is not cordial/acceptable between the affected group of people. It will increase enmity among the two sides and even may result in destruction and violence. It could have been done four years back in a peaceful manner and with mutual understanding of both the groups.
But why is not done is a question ? And the bigger puzzle is, when it is not done so long why it should not be postponed after the election ? What's the big hurry now ? It can be better answered only by the Congress leadership, indulged always in divide and rule policy for the people.
Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy had boasted that no Chief Minister has done injustice to the Telangana region and expressed anguish over what could happen if the state is divided.
Listing out the problems he said both Hyderabad and Telangana have sensitive areas, so he expressed concern over the problem of Naxalites, and said that if the state is divided, both regions will have Naxal problem. He reminded that the majority of the top Maoist leaders are from AP, particularly the Telangana region. The police force would be weakened if there is a division, resulting in increased Naxal activities. At present the state police has enough strength successfully tackling the Naxal problem.
Reddy has also made it clear to the Congress high command that instead of state bifurcation, Telangana region would be developed with more welfare schemes and development programmes, without state division.
IH wonders, how many will believe the logic given by the Congress CM. Kiran Reddy,as people from both sides have suffered for this unresolved matter for long time and a violent and unstable atmosphere prevailed for long . Kiran and the predecessor Congress CM has woken too late .
INDIA HONEST assumes it is the time , we need to rise above petty election led politics policy and think nationally for all round welfare of people for the whole nation, considering India is first and the people are supreme, we have judge our action from that angle only, be it Telengana or Seemandhra, all are our own people .
