It was news media headline : "After Rahul Gandhi's objection, Adarsh report is 'partially accepted." Why the news line should not read like " After Rahul Gandhi's acceptance,Adarsh report is partly objected ."
The fact of matter is very simple ,the report into the Adarsh scam was the result of the investigation made by the investigating judicial team and prepared by a retired judge, and it was rejected by the state government last month on the floor of house without any discussion in the house, and without assigning any reasons for that, as the report has indicted four former chief ministers, all from the Congress. Among them one is Sushil Kumar Shinde, who is now Union Home Minister.
After a huge uproar Rahul Gandhi was forced to intervene and asked the Maharashtra Chief Minister to act on the report .
Now the question arises what Rahul Gandhi discussed in the Congress CM's meeting about this report ?
What Rahul Gandhi understood about the scam and the report ?
And finally what and how he wanted to act on the report and scam ?
And yet, "what now is done by CM.Chavan", is exactly what Rahul expected/advised/ordered to the Congress CM. to do ?
All above is in the context of the regular instances in past when Rahul Gandhi had been found lagging on most corruption cases,when his reaction has been delayed hugely in time,he was found waiting for the reactions of opposition, even tasting/gauging the mood of people. And rather in planned practise of acting hard in last, while posturing or suggesting that he is the real "Correct man" on the street, and he will not tolerate any wrong even by their own man.
If it is not to be repeated one more time any time in near future by Rahul, than the people must accept that it is Rahul's final view and verdict on Adarsh report, that now the CM. Chavan has acted today ? It means Rahul Gandhi has exonerated all the Chief Ministers including the present Home Minister Sushil Shinde, as not guilty, irrespective of being indicated in the report.
INDIA HONEST reads that this report that was rejected by the state government last month,and on that Mr Gandhi, who is Congress vice-president,has said that he disagrees with the government's decision to reject the report, a stand that was later backed by his mother and party president Sonia Gandhi.
Now today Mr Chavan, who heads a coalition government between the Congress and Sharad Pawar's NCP, said today that Mr Shinde will not be investigated because he had been faulted for political patronage of the housing project; there was no suggestion of any criminality.
IH wanted to know is this the judgement of Mr. Rahul Gandhi? Do Rahul, who championed on Lokpal even after waiting for three years raising the agony to Annaji and the millions of Indians, and now sidelining from acting when few of the important Congressmen are indicated directly in the report ?
