Last month, former Social Welfare minister Parveen Amanullah resigned from the cabinet and the party to join the Aam Aadmi Party.
Today in another blow to the ruling Janata Dal (U) government, Renu Kushwaha, Bihar’s Industries and Disaster Management Minister, resigned from the post after her husband joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. Now with the exit of Ms. Kushwaha’s exit, the cabinet is without a woman face in the ministry.
Kushwaha tendered her resignation late on Monday, hours after her husband Vijay Kumar Singh joined the BJP on Monday in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.State JD (U) president Bashishtha Narayan Singh said.
that despite Nitish Kumar’s intervention, she could not be persuaded to withdraw it.
Reacting to Ms. Kushwaha’s resignation, Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad said, “Mr. Kumar’s house is on fire.” The move may harm the JD (U) vote base in the OBC Kushwaha community, especially after OBC leader Upendra Kushwaha entered into an alliance with the BJP.
INDIA HONEST reminds Nitish Kumar in his failed choice to play minority polarisation game for winning the election while ignoring long and deep relations with NDA, moreover he failed to judge the undercurrent running in favour of Narendra Modi through India including Bihar .
Even IH has no hesitation in predicting that it is still a beginning of crumbling of his Bihar castle, that has been based on hate and divisive politics, but very soon it may bust when scores of other leaders also opt to join Modi Chariot , going along the wishes of people of Bihar.
Do Nitish Kumar has , after being discarded by the sinking Congress party leadership, any hope left after all this even to stabilise his crumbling castle made on the plinth of hate and polarisation politics ?
