Union minister and National Conference president Farooq Abdullah, addressing a rally in Srinagar said that "Kashmir wouldn’t be part of an India that is “communal” and that those who “vote for Modi should jump into the sea”.
Farooq said,“India can’t be communal,”and “If India becomes communal, Kashmir will not remain with India. It will not remain.”
The people of Kashmir will not accept communalism at any cost, he said while referring to statements by BJP Bihar leader Giriraj Singh and VHP leader Pravin Togadia, Farooq said: “And then they say those who don’t vote for Modi should go to Pakistan. (I say) those who vote for Modi should jump into the sea… Why should we go? This is our home. We are its owners.”
INDIA HONEST reminds to the people that earlier,the NC leader and J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who is also son of Farook, had said that he would prefer going to Pakistan than to stop criticising Modi.
Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley hit out at National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah for his remarks against Narendra Modi and said, "I don't know why did he go to such an extreme position and make such a statement. He is a senior politician, he must introspect. It will be better for him to get all his energy to get back the Kashmiri Pandits to Kashmir rather than teaching secularism to the rest of India."
One BJP leader said in Delhi, India did not need a certificate from Farooq. “Neither the country nor J&K needs a certificate from Farooq Abdullah to become secular. The worry is the corrupt government of Abdullahs,” .
INDIA HONEST sees the sign of deep frustration on the faces of Congress leaders and on the mind of its UPA allies . But it is surprising none of the so called political leaders dared any thing to comment on such severe attack on the sovereignty of our nation, even by an UPA minister.
Yes even the news traders has two different standards for Giriraj Singh and this communal Farooq Abdullas comments. One reader truly commented , "Look at the language they used when Giriraj Singh made the remark. They hounded him. They are still demanding his arrest. And when Farooq makes this comment, there is silence. Not even a whimper. It's almost as if they are in support ."
INDIA HONEST is sincerely worried , we urgently need to have a check and adjustment on our nationalistic and patriotic barometer among our political leaders and even on the news traders,to keep India united and strong .Communal and enemies of the nation have nasty game plan working through some greedy and selfish politicians .
