BJP vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi warned the Mamata Banerjee government in Bengal saying BJP would not keep quiet on violence against its party men and will ask Central government to intervene if Mamata doesn't end her regime of ‘anarchy and violence’ in Bengal .
BJP vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi slammed the Mamata Banerjee regime in West Bengal on law and order, while dubbed it as a government of "anarchy and violence".He said, "It is a government of anarchy, violence and arrogance. Post poll violence is taking place with the patronage of the Trinamool Congress government. No action is taken against those who perpetrate violence," and added,"Barring Bengal, BJP workers were not attacked in any other state in post-poll violence."
The party spokeswoman Meenakshi Lekhi said, "The kind of violence prevailing in West Bengal is a matter of concern. Law and order is a state subject. The state needs to protects its citizens by virtue of establishing the rule of law," .
Loud protest against the Sandeshkhali violence, in which at least 20 BJP supporters were attacked by alleged Trinamool Congress goons, residents of some tribal villages of Sandeshkhali in North 24-Parganas has launched a movement against attacks on them by alleged Trinamool men.
More than 150 tribal, holding bows and arrows, from villages like Golbunia, Sarberia and Agarbati under Sandeshkhali block No. 1 launched an agitation on Friday afternoon in front of the Basirhat SDPO office and demanded tight security. The villagers alleged that local Trinamool goons called them BJP supporters and attacked them frequently in recent times. The attacks, according to them, continued even after the elections.
CHANGING BENGAL & IH is worried on the continued violence, related to recent election, where Modi led BJP made a dramatic and remarkable entry in Bengal with 17% share and two seats, making a break in the citadel of Mamata Banerjee. Most reasonable , it annoyed Didi, but violence or threat or revenge is not the answer of people's change in their verdict .
TMC must not forget, it got the power in 2011 against the violence alleged on the Left, while they also promised a "Porivartan" in Bengal. Didi must dig deep, if people's aspirations and hope of peace and prosperity have met in Bengal ? If growth and development is visible in rural Bengal ? If people are getting enough job opportunities ? If people's needs relating to health, education, security are taken care of adequately by the ma-mati-manush government ?
No, sadly the government has failed miserably on most of the above fronts , while security of women and people in general is highly neglected. These areas should be revisited by the people sensitive Didi before long as the aggrieved people may have many more options next time to think about, while the continued violence is bound to backfire as people are feeling alienated .
Moreover, Bengal has made a bad name by indulging in election related violence regularly, never found in the rest of India. It must be stopped, and the government must work for the entire population more in cooperation of the positive central government, only for the real welfare of entire population of the state. Teaching sermon of Rajdharma is good , but following that is the essence of the democracy, nobody should dare neglecting it.
