CPM. has raised a question that, if West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi was one of Mamata's planning of a 'ghar wapasi', reminding TMC's past association in NDA 1 as a partner in the ministry.
The Kolkata's Brigade Parade Ground rally, that was joined by many CPM stalwarts, including Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, Prakash Karat, Biman Bose, Sitaram Yechuri among others, the leaders attacked Mamata Banerjee on every possible front, including her failure to create jobs,to ensure women's safety and poor people's plight on the big scam of Saradha chit fund.
One rare MP., who won election on the Left flag in the 2014 election, Md Salim was witty enough in saying, "Mamata had said before the Lok Sabha elections she would tie a rope round Modi's waist and drag him around. Many Muslim brothers thought, here is a brave daughter who will drag Modi around with a rope around his waist. But we now have to ask, Didi, you are going to Delhi, Are you taking a rope? Or are you taking a rakhi for Modi."
India Honest presumes that though CPM is critical on Didi, but they are much worried on the rising vote share of BJP, as was visible in last by election, where the ruling TMC emerged victorious in both the Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies, but the Bharatiya Janata Party grabbed maximum eyeballs.As seen in the minority influenced Krishnaganj constituency of Nadia, BJP increased its vote share from mere 3.09 % to 29.53 %, while in the Bongaon Lok Sabha constituency it increased its vote share from 19.06% to 25.40 % since 2014 elections.
Even more, the story becomes more pathetic as the left finds the big slip on its grip on Muslim voters, one big minority appeasement trump card that both CPM and TMC played all along to win triangular election in West Bengal.

BJP chief Rahul Sinha statement on minority, has caused more head crunch to the Left leaders,dependent on minority appeasement so long, when he said, "Recently, you must have noticed, Trinamool Congress killed our six Muslim party workers in West Bengal. It is because a significant number of Muslims are joining BJP in West Bengal.
It is true that BJP did enjoy their support historically here but of late Muslim support has increased for us. Muslims are willing to sacrifice even their lives for BJP. It is not a small thing. The increasing support of Muslim community is a huge success for the BJP."
India Honest raises a note on an important trend, not seen for a long time, that minority has begun to trust development led Modi's BJP more than false rumour of fear on the party, even in the height of last four decades of Left and TMC rule, the status of minority as a community, in their upliftment and welfare has worsened.
Poverty and unemployment among minorities have proportionately increased much more than others and that has forced them to think wisely and it has only led them to bigger trust and their choice option to try Modi's development plank more strongly,as seen in the changing voting pattern among minorities. Political parties in WB. must gauge the ground situation first before blaming Modi, to see what they have given to people in last four decades.
