How Farmer's Suicide Tragedy is Carried Forward by each Government for Decades ?

@ The political parties have not paid much heed other than lip service for so many years on the issue. In fact, both NDA and UPA governments have had abysmal record when it comes to suicide of farmers since 1995. Ac cording to the figures, a total of 2,97, 056 farmers have killed themselves in India since 1995. National Crime Records Bureau figures show, the state lags far behind Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh in the number of farmers suicides' recorded.Out of the total of 11,772 farmers who ended their lives in India in 2013, 292 were from Rajasthan, putting the state at tenth place when it comes to farmers' suicides.
@ Maharashtra, with 3,146 farmers' suicide in 2013, has had alarming figures for past 15 years, followed by 2,104 in A.P., 1,403 in Karnataka and 1,090 in M.P.,these four states almost  account for two-thirds of farmers' suicides in the country. Only Chhattisgarh and West Bengal have managed to record zero suicides in the year. More than one lakh suicides are recorded every year in the country, as in 2013 alone in India, there were 1,34,799 suicides out of which 8.7% were that of farmers. Rajasthan had overall 4,860 suicides out of which 292 were that of farmers. While NCRB doesn't give any reasons for the deaths, such suicides are often linked to crop damage or failure, debts, lack of irrigation provisions, low productivity, unrewarding prices, distress sales, rising costs of cultivation and more.
@ The issue of farmers' suicides is often raked up by political parties during elections but the problem persists in most of the states. While Rajasthan native Gajendra Singh's suicide on Wednesday in Delhi has led to a political slug fest On Gajendra Singh's suicide, PM Narendra Modi also issued a statement and expressed concern. He also asking other political parties to work together to find a solution.
@@ India Honest reminds all the nationalist people and politicians, farmer's plight is national problem that has been carried over , year by year for last 67 years. The problem is more related to basic fact that agriculture has become non productive or rather loss making family business for the traditional farmers. Two reasons a) Old outdated system practised in agriculture on the ever reducing size of field, due to division between the shareholders 2) non rewarding prices in comparison to rising cost of production are the basic lacuna.
@@ AND BY NOT DISCUSSING THE REASONS AND POSSIBLE SOLUTION, THE EDUCATED PEOPLE OR POLITICIANS ARE ONLY DOING POLITICS OF DEATH & DRAMA OR EVEN MURDER POLITICS, WHEN IN OPPOSITION. IT IS MOST SHAMEFUL FOR ALL THE FIGHTING POLITICIANS.
