Mehbooba Mufti Questioned Omar's Failure to Control Communal Unrest ,

Curfew was clamped in three more districts of Udhampur, Samba and Kathua in the tense Jammu region and Army staged flag marches, as tension prevailed following outbreak of communal violence in Kishtwar.

J&K government made violence-hit Kishtwar out of bounds for politicians, while Kishtwar remained curfew-bound for the third consecutive day on Sunday. Authorities also brought Jammu city and Rajouri town under curfew, in a bid to maintain law and order.

Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley was detained at Jammu airport , and the BJP Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab Avinash Rai Khanna, state BJP President Jugal Kishore, were also detained by police at Kathua this morning on their way to Kishtwar, drawing sharp reaction from BJP which termed it as "undemocratic".

PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti was also prevented from leaving her house in Srinagar for a visit to the violence affected district in Jammu region. Leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday criticized the Jammu and Kashmir government for being unable to bring the communal unrest within the state under control, saying that Omar Abdullah’s government was ‘sleeping around’ at a crucial moment of crisis in the state.

“The two communities are at war with each other. What is the government doing? …Nobody seems to be in control of the situation, which is very unfortunate for a place like Jammu and Kashmir where Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs have been living in peace and harmony in the worst kinds of situations,” Mufti said.

Divisional Commissioner, Jammu told that curfew has been imposed in Udhampur, Kathua and Samba districts "as a precautionary measure and Army has also been deployed in the areas to assist local administration. The situation is tense but under control. There are no reports of any untoward incident today. Army has staged flag marches in several areas," .

Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said not allowing opposition leaders in trouble-torn Kishtwar in the Jammu region of Jammu and Kashmir is "undemocratic", he also said, "Stopping opposition leaders in this manner shows that the government does not want the truth about the Kishtwar violence to come out."

Don't we need to strengthen our patriotic forces to avoid weakening of our nation by these selfish trouble makers and make our India Strong ? Again should our large political leadership avoid any reaction or reasons in support or against  any of such anti national activity from the very soil of our nation India and thus forgo the right to oppose when the same reiteration is being done by the Pakistani terror groups in collaboration of Pakistani troops and ISI, that even resulted in killing of our five brave soldiers at the border ?
