Its a question the wise men should answer, why the comments given by writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar should at all be considered or discussed in public forum ? Why we should even mention or argue, what he tweets ?
India's singing queen Lata Mangeshker recently praised Narendra Modi as a person and wished that she would like to see Modi as the next prime minister. An honest wish from an true nationalistic Lataji. A true Indian patriot Lataji, who sang one song based on 1962 war, " Ea mere vatan ke logo, jara ankh me bhar lo pani", and put such a pain and love for Indian martyr soldiers, that made all Indians to stir and feel the agony, whenever they hear this song. Such was the voice and devotion of the melody queen for her nation India, that billion of patriot Indian love and respect her and so also respect her wish on Modi.
It shows that to comment on crucial Indian matters, like selection of a PM., to command respect to your choice, one has to be an honest Indian first, but writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar with his biased ideology, communal hate mentality and distaste for nationalism,he never commands any respect among the vast 99.1% majority of Indians. Few commercial Bollywood hits, are all that Javed Akhtar can boast of, but that does not allow him permission to spread hate and false propaganda against a national leader.
Akhtar bashing by Modi's supporters was provoked by Akhtar himself, when he poked his nose without any justification by announcing that Narendra Modi can never be a good prime minister, alleging that the BJP's PM aspirant was not only tainted of communal riots but was also "undemocratic".
Akhtar shamelessly argued,"Amid chants of registering hat-trick in Gujarat one thing is glossed over - that he has given a damn to democracy in the state ... His rise is a challenge to democracy," as if people are waiting for his pious advice or he was supposed to issue a Fatwa .
But it crossed all the limits, when Akhtar tweeted: "Some idiots imply that opposing Modi is an anti national activity. Are they suggesting that we, the 90 % Indians are anti nationals."
It is most provocative and insulting to even 90 % Indian, which he jealously acknowledged that they are Modi supporters, but it is bound to invite strong repercussion from nationalist Indians.Yes dictating your fundamentalist accusation on a national leader is an anti national dividing act.
Writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar, has thus disclosed his mentality and lack of maturity, when he denied that getting repeated mandate for three times from the people makes you undemocratic, it confirms Akhtar belongs to 0.01% fundamentalist left in India, and he at best deserves the flak from the Gujarat CM’s supporters or it will be best to be ignore him, by the 99% of Indian people.
