Do Srilanka has ever invited political leaders from Tamilnadu, to meet Tamils from Jaffna and settle their grievances ? Do China allow Dalai Lama or any other foreign leaders to come and meet dissenting Tibet's leaders at Beijing or Lhasa ? Why it is so ? Just because they believe that Tibet or Jaffna is the integral part of their respective country, not a disputed area to be mediated or interfered by any foreign leaders. Any proud and strong national leadership will maintain, one similar hawkish attitude on any national sovereignty matter, except our Congress, who is still not able to come over from the morbidity of the blunder they committed in 1948 in Kashmir and in 1962 in Laddakh.
Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s adviser on security and foreign relations Sartaj Aziz, will be in Delhi to attend a conference of the foreign ministers of some Asian and European countries. Here some prominent Kashmir's separatist leaders will meet him at the invitation of the Pakistan High Commission, in New Delhi on Sunday.
BJP President Rajnath Singh accused that, the UPA government had committed a diplomatic blunder" by allowing Sartaj Aziz to meet Kashmiri separatists on Indian soil and demanded that the talks be stopped. Singh said that Pakistan has been trying hard to internationalise the Kashmir issue for many years including at the UN General Assembly meeting.
It was a matter of concern "over the manner" in which the UPA government is operating its Pakistan policy, while India has been facing a series of ceasefire violations from Pakistan, the government's response towards such acts of aggression has been "submissive".
INDIA HONEST question the wisdom on the part of the Congress to allow the J&K matter getting international attention, by allowing to the known India baiter, Pakistani political leadership to spill venom in the hearts of the separatists.
It seems the UPA leadership, who is fed up with internal backlash on economic issues and corruption scams has decided to ignore opening of any new front with J&K separatist and surrendering to them to Pakistani mentors.
