Delhi Police Inspector Jagmender Dahiya has threatened legal action against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and others for allegedly “misusing his name”. The AAP government had used Dahiya’s complaint against M K Meena to fortify its position against the latter’s appointment as the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) chief.
In a letter to the CM on July 2, Dahiya has claimed that he never filed a complaint against Meena. “I am informing you that I had not filed any complaint before any authority and police officials against Mukesh Kumar Meena, joint commissioner, Delhi Police. I personally respect him and whatever the news items published in the newspapers are only rumours and media and other authorities/leaders had not taken my opinion/consent from me and also my name has been misused in this regard,” said the letter by Dahiya, according to sources. “I may file a defamation case against those who have misused and are still misusing my name”.

Magsaysay award winner and social activist Sandeep Pandey is disappointed with the working of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and has said that AAP is turning out to be like other political parties. ”We had hoped of a fundamental shift in politics through the Aam Admi Party (AAP) but it too is turning out to be any other political party and Kejriwal’s working is disappointing,” Pandey, who was here in connection with a programme, told newspersons last night.

Biranchi Narayan says that he never liked the antics of Arvind Kejriwal during his 49 days tenure and not even now. To me he always appears to be an immature, over ambitious and a bit ambiguous person. Ambiguous in the sense that he uses two standards, one for himself and his party and another for his adversaries.
Immaturity is visible in his acts, like his fights with the Lieutenant Governor on officer's postings and transfers. I don't dispute on his rights, but as a CM, he should not have victimized the officers. A good leader should be able to lead with whatever team (of bureaucrats) he has been assigned.
