Indian Express says "Girl records statement: went with (Muslim) youth willingly" .The 14-year-old girl who returned after being missing for over 80 days Tuesday recorded her statement in the presence of the chief judicial magistrate.South 24 Parganas SP, Sunil Choudhury said, “She has denied she was kidnapped, and said she had left with the Muslim youth willingly because her father did not like her association with him and often scolded her. She also said he was trying to marry her off to someone else,” .

Unless there’s a need, we won’t call the youth for questioning,” he said.

In protest against eve teasing incident on July 20 night, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) called for Jamshedpur bandh yesterday. The activists of VHP assembled at Mango Chowk on July 21 morning at around 10 am to register their protest against growing Love Jihad and Islamic teasing on Hindu Girls .
VHP Jamshedpur bandh receives spontaneous response. Thousand participated. Bandh supporters demanding arrest of those responsible for the eve-teasing of Monday night put up road blockades and set fire to tyres in the middle of roads disrupting traffic for hours, police said.
When a large number of police chased the VHP activists at Mango Chowk, a section of youth went over to Munshi Mohalla and pelted stones at a mosque, triggering fresh trouble.It is alleged that the retaliating Hindu youths had also torched about a dozen push-carts along the Mango-Azadnagar road and also plundered half-dozen shops belonging to the people of the Muslim community out of public wrath.
Though the Jamshedpur City SP, Chandan Jha said the situation was under control; the spontaneous response to the Bandh called by VHP shows an arrogant Hindu unity against Muslim hooliganism and eve-teasing growing in Jamshedpur.
