If Opening of Netaji Files will Badly Hurt Morale of Congress ?

Anuj Dhar, the writer on the controversy surrounding Subhas Chandra Bose's disappearance whose book "No Secrets" also made a pitch for the declassification of the Bose files, said that he has come to know "at least four secret files that were in existence in the Internal Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs during the Atal Bihari Vajpayee days are no longer there".

He has made a stunning allegation that the UPA government is making files relating to the iconic freedom fighter's fate "disappear".He says that in March 2007, the then Union home secretary informed the Central Information Commission that disclosure of many Top Secret Bose-related documents "would lead to a serious law and order problem in the country, especially in West Bengal".

Dhar  has then remarked thus: "The MHA subsequently stated that any decision concerning the disclosure of these records has to be taken at the highest level. Later that year, then Home Minister Shivraj Patil referred the issue of these records to the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs headed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. While the CCPA decided in favour of the release, only a few, mostly non-sensitive records were eventually released. I wonder which 'highest-level' authority came in the way."

Regarding the four ISD files Dhar says their disappearance indicates that "they have either been destroyed or moved with a view to concealing their very existence". Asked what could have been the motive, Dhar says, "Perhaps the Congress party is wary of a regime change in 2014."

India Honest reminds of the fact that the family of Netaji have often in the past had accused Nehru of ordering the government to snoop on the Bose family? And now with the opening of files one serious suspicion rises, "Do these files contain new details pertaining to that accusation on Congress and the leader Nehru?

Ardhendu Bose, nephew of Subhas Chandra Bose, emphasises why the Centre should declassify files on the legendary freedom fighter. On being asked that in the past, you have often accused Nehru of ordering the government to snoop on the Bose family? Do these files contain new details pertaining to that?

He said, "Our family was snooped on right till Nehru's death in 1964. If Netaji had indeed died in 1945 -- which Nehru had maintained throughout -- then what was the need to keep a watch on the family? This is further evidence that the plane crash theory was completely false. These files contain all these details. Moreover, we will also get to know about the snooping that Nehru ordered on the soldiers of the Indian National Army. The soldiers of INA were spread across the country and they were being watched all the time.

India Honest have serious doubt as well inherent conviction on the point now asked before West Bengal election, "If Opening of Netaji Files will Badly Hurt Morale of Congress ?"

Ashok Jain : Rahul, You are 200% right . Narendra Modi must toe the line of the students of an institution made in the name of your party's great leader Jawaharlal Nehru, even if that line is anti national or most horrible criminal line of sedition.

How dare the NaMo Government to bully the patriot students, who though want to destroy India ? Why the government should stop the students' demand of freedom of Kashmir and why deny handover of Kashmir  to Pakistan ?

Sadly one must agree with Rahul Gandhi's ideology that the arrest of the group of separatists and traitors and restriction on their activities is anti freedom of speech and thus condemnable. Yes that makes a good reason of Rahul's Congress party's joining hands with the Left in Bengal, as the Left have toed the same line for decades.

Suresh Kochattil :  This guy has the IQ of a Snail and no wonder he makes blunders, day in and day out.

Radhakrishnan Raman :  I agree with Rahul Gandhi's views, but on the condition, that the killers of Shri Rajiv Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi also be accorded the same respect which Afzal Guru commands in his heart. After all he must pay his respects to LTTE and Ghodse if he is genuinely concerned like his great grandfather Pandit Nehru, about a university providing democratic spaces for disagreements and differences!!

It is a matter for the courts, what has the Government got to do with it?-Nitin Gadkari on 12:01 PM - 8 Dec 2015

Sonia and Rahul Gandhi,India's first mother-son duo political family have to appear in court on the allegations of misappropriation, has become a cause for Congress party in creation of such a big political storm, that even have mired the chances of running of the Parliament.

National Herald case, which has placed both of the Gandhis squarely in the eyes of public as the mastermind to misappropriate the property of National Herald , valued at 5000 crores by few analysts. The brief facts (as Expressed by media) of the case are as follows :

The National Herald was a newspaper that India's first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru helped set in pre-Independence India in the year 1938. It was part of a company called Associated Journals Limited, which was funded by the Congress. An article in Mint quotes a biographer of Nehru as saying that he found himself being unable to make an impact on the 'reactionary tendencies' in the Congress, after which the National Herald was started. However, as the article pointed out, it faced financial difficulties throughout its existence. The newspaper officially closed down in April 2008.

As per Enforcement Directorate (ED), a private non-profit company 'Young Indian' was formed in March 2011, with Sonia and Rahul holding 38 percent of the shares each, allegedly with the specific aim of taking over the liabilities of AJL.

In 2012, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy filed a complaint before a court. Swamy accused Congress leaders of being involved in cheating through the acquisition of AJL by Young Indian Pvt Ltd. He alleged that YIL paid merely Rs 50 lakh to recover an amount of Rs 90.25 crore that AJL owed to the Congress.

The case has seen several twists and turns in the recent past. In August, reports had suggested that the ED had decided to close the case, citing lack of substantive evidence against Sonia and Rahul Gandhi. However, ED director Rajan S Katoch was removed from service after the reports to that effect surfaced. In September, the ED decided to reopen the case. The Delhi High Court has now rejected the plea filed by the Gandhis challenging the summons, which means that they will have to appear before the court unless the order is set aside. As of now, a Delhi court has asked them to appear on 19 December and exempted them from personal appearances on 8 December.

INDIA HONEST laughs out at RaGa's insistence that "why he is not allowed to question from the "Well of House" ? While his party members remain shouting slogans and creating noise but still RaGa threatened that he cannot be silenced. Yes dear Papoo, you have every right and liberty to ask questions even from the well of house, but the court will not give you such liberty, there you will have only choice to REPLY to the questions of the prosecutor's attorney, and it will be difficult when that questioner is Subramanian Swamy and the glaring eyes and ears of the sitting Judge.

Minhaz Merchant : By blocking LS/RS over ‪#‎NH‬ court judgement @OfficeOfRG & Sonia put personal interest above national interest. Will prove electorally costly.
