Provocative Pakistani Army Violated Ceasefire Again in Jammu & Kashmir

Never repenting and provocative Pakistani army violated the ceasefire again, when Pakistani troops fired at Indian post in Poonch sector in Jammu and Kashmir late on Monday night.  Defence sources said on Tuesday that the Pakistani soldiers intruded into the Indian territory past midnight and ambushed the Sarla post on the Indian side in a  blatant  infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Poonch, though the bid was foiled but only after paying the price of lives of five brave Indian soldiers.

Army Chief Gen Bikram Singh is taking stock of the situation,the Army sources said in Delhi. Yes, this incident comes only hours after a jawan was injured in firing from across the border in Samba district of J&K. Senior BSF officer confirmed that there was sniper firing from from Pakistan side along the international border at Narainpur border out post (BOP) area in Ramgarh sector,and that firing from Pakistan side injured head constable Ram Niwas Meena.

The upper house of Indian Parliament took a serious note of anger with the Opposition MPs cornered the government over the death of the Indian soldiers in firing violation by Pakistan, resulting in its adjournment.

Parliamentary affairs minister Shukla expressed shock and grief at the incident, but the Defence minister failed to appear and reply urgently. The angered Leader of the opposition Arun Jaitley, thundered and said, “The issue has serious defence, security and foreign policy implications. Whoever gives a statement today from the government should be prepared to answer questions, especially about foreign policy.”


BJP spokesperson, Ravishankar Prasad, was agitated much and warned that, “Whoever comes to speak today should not say that he does not have his answers ready.”  CPM's MP Sitaram Yechury wanted the Prime Minister to make a statement.

J&K Chief minister Omar tweeted that he was briefed early morning about the news that five of our soldiers had been killed on the LoC and  condoled and cautioned that these incidents don't help efforts to normalise or even improve relations with Pakistan and call in to question the Pak Govt's recent overtures.
