Q : Ramesh said that he hopes that the 2014 election is not fought on communal polarisation but on development. He said though the BJP has projected Modi thinking that he will get them the bounce, the party would not get new allies.
A : Why Jairam is holding on to the lost bullet, fired by the Congress at the beginning of the year by raising the communal angle in 90% of their debates, while Modi preferred to talk, only and only of three points : youth, governance and development. Moreover Congress has nothing to show in development front, yes they can be glad in the development in one special front with more than thousand % growth, that is in the scams say it : coal allocation scam; 2G spectrum scam, Railgate bribery scam, CWG scam...............a long list of achievements, Congress can be proud of.
Q : Jairam rejected a suggestion that the 2014 election is a referendum on the leadership of Rahul Gandhi versus Modi and why Congress is diffident about formally projecting Rahul as its Prime Ministerial candidate. He said,"No. Absolutely not... We do not see 2014 elections as a Prime Ministerial sweepstakes," .
A : What a foolish suggestion ? Why any guardian will send his soft spoken child to fight with a roaring lion ? No it will be unjustified fight ? Moreover Rahul has already declared that, "not now"-------------- "I will join later on from the back door, if the stage is ready for me only, after the results are declared,".
Rahul is not in the race of "me too". He is not prone to frontal fight, he beleives in his vast knowledge of "Kalawatis", that's why he rarely opens his mouth in the Parliament. Is not he a smart guy to lead this nation ? Yes Mr. Jairam Ramesh.
Q : Ramesh said, "We are not in 'me too' strategy... We are not in reactive strategy that we must do it since the BJP did it."
A : Yes a valid argument, as he argued, why Congress will copy BJP ? Have BJP copied them, as to what Congress has done on price or inflation front or on corruption records or or........... then why Congress will copy BJP ?
Q Jairam said,"Modi will not bring them allies that they need. The next government is a coalition government... Allies will not come with Modi at the helm," he said.
A : Yes, it is the great opportunity and advantage for Congress : they can grab all the allies in their pocket.................Raja, Soren, Mulayam, Lalu of the world.......................all will be much happy to join the Congress band wagon.
Q: Ramesh noted that BJP is in serious and direct contest with Congress in seven to eight states, as he said, "The so-called BJP-Congress confrontation is not a national confrontation. BJP is in serious contest with Congress in 7-8 states not in all the 30 states.
A: These 7-8 states makes up to more than 350 seats and a substantial lead from these states to any party will set the final outcome.
