Indian Mujahideen mastermind Yasin Bhatkal alias Ahmad Zarar Siddibappa has told his police interrogators that his outfit was planning to acquire and detonate " a small nuclear bomb" on Surat. Bhatkal has revealed that IM cadres are regularly given army-level training in Pakistan like handling of pistols, revolvers, AK-47 and explosives, apart from light machine guns, self-loading rifles, and sniper rifles.
TOI quoted, interrogation reports said, "Bhatkal told his interrogators that he had asked his boss Riyaz Bhatkal over telephone whether he could arrange "a small nuclear bomb".The report said Surat was always on Yasin Bhatkal's radar and he had played an important role in preparing 27 bombs along with Atif Ameen in 2008, when serial blasts rocked Delhi, Jaipur and Ahmedabad".
INDIA HONEST this time honestly raises one question that is it Pakistan alone is liable for creation and promotion of such evil minded terrorists in India ?
Why our political system and its leaders should not be equally held liable for the necessary support and encouragement of such activities, just for the nefarious act of gaining benefit in the election, by pretending that we are supporting minorities in their cause ?
Former SP.leader and its Muslim face Kamaal Farooqui had just few months back objected on the arrest of Yasin Bhatkal by security agencies , saying it was an act of torture on the members of Muslim community.
This incident was narrated in IH blog :
"Farooqui List of Innocent Terrorist in Fake Encounter Extended from Shohrabuddin to Bhatkal" dated 5 th September 2013 as below :
{Samajwadi Party's national secretary Kamaal Farooqui's list of innocent terrorist trapped in fake encounter extended now from Sadiq Jamal, Tulsiram Prajapati, Ishrat Jahan, Shohrabuddin , Shahzad Ahmad of Batala House to Yasin Bhatkal of Indian Mujahideen; and it is well expected by 2014 the list will also include Dawood Ibrahim, Syed Lakhvi and many more.
Commenting on Bhatkal’s arrest, Farooqui had earlier said: “Is this arrest based on crime or religion?" "If he is a terrorist, then he should not be spared but if he has been arrested just because he is a Muslim, then caution should be exercised as we don't want to send a wrong message to the entire community."
The so called secular Samajwadi Party was forced to distance from the remarks saying they reflected Farooqui’s personal views. Farooqui was now sacked from the post of Samajwadi Party's national secretary following his comments ten days earlier on arrested Indian Mujahideen founder Yasin Bhatkal's arrest.
But why the same logic will not be applicable to Sadiq Jamal, Tulsiram Prajapati, Ishrat Jahan, Shohrabuddin etc when similar case of Shahzad Ahmad of Batala House was proved terrorist by the Delhi High Court,for that reason the provocative Dig sir of Congress has hide his face in shame ? }
INDIA HONEST finally asks the AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, how you dare to include a political leader of such an anti national ideology to the party, while you have opted to administer an important state like capital city of Delhi.
Why a party with the pious anti corruption ideology should ignore vital national security risks, just for the sake of minority voter's polarisation. If really AAP has to gain ground in national politics ,it has to clarify its stand on many important issues/aspects including terrorism, Kashmir and growth in national economy,not before long .
Moreover any decision to include Farooqi, whom Samajwadi Party has thrown out only for his anti national stand, if completed in next few days, it will be a big question mark on AAP's intentions .
