Days after the BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi expressed his 'pain' over 2002 Gujarat riots through a blog, Union Law Minister Kapil Sibal questioned its 'timing' and said that the blog was a ploy to garner voters sympathy in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
Sibal said that Modi's blog seemed to be a calculated attempt to woo the voters. "Eleven years is too late. This pain and agony reflected in the blog is for an audience whose sympathy will be vital in May, 2014". Pain can never be a belated reaction after 11 years of silence. And a person who suffers in silence cannot remain silent for 11 years.
INDIA HONEST agrees that of course Modi's blog is late by all the standard, even if one counts the extra sub-judice angle. And still it is much belated if compared from the 1984 Sikh genocide committed by the Congress , for which the Congress chief Sonia Gandhi never felt any remorse till date, saying she was not personally in the helm of affairs.
Congress leaders Kamalnath, Sajjan Kumar and many others are roaming free and hearty about their deeds, yes Kapil sir, 11 years is "Greater" than 29 years. Our mathematics may be wrong, but how Kapil Sibal (not Kapil Sharma) may be wrong, if he says that it was legally correct to say what Modi intended to say when the case was still being adjudicated .
Kapil Sibal asked,"Where was the pain of those who were seeking justice but were left in the cold? Where was the pain when the State was collaborating with the accused to settle their affidavits, while they were being prosecuted in courts ?" (IH failed to understand the meaning of cold, was Kapil sir talking about the cold in Muzffernagar/Shamli camps, and many children dying of cold or what ?)
INDIA HONEST agrees that as moreover the whole bunch of Congress leaders are sorry in their heart for the genocide in killings of innocent Sikhs at the hands of Congress leaders and workers and "refused to fight" the cases against the accused in 1984 Sikh killings, only the court is not giving the judgement as the "Sikh victims", themselves are playing the delaying tactics.
Yes Rahul is unmindful of 2014 election, and all on sudden he fixed his stance on most of the prevention of corruption bills, like Lokpal bill (when Anna since 2011, asking the government "not" to pass the bill till 2014, he even fasted two times to press not to pass it before time.).
The people of India though crippled by inflation and high rising food prices by at least five years, but still they appealed Rahul Gandhi not to act in haste, so even if only the last week of December 2013, Rahul advised the Congress Chief Minsters to tighten their belt on the marketing/distribution government agencies to loosen their control on the marketing activities and let the farmer be allowed to market their products at much lower prices by January 15, 2014. With the same fastness Sonia Gandhi manged to pass the Food security bill, just six months ahead of election, and that may be implemented in 2014(?).
Yes Mr. Kapil Sibal, Congress and their choice leader Rahul Gandhi is before time by all standard, as the "D date of election 2014" is still at least 4 months away.
Kapil sir , you may be tallest Supreme Court lawyer of India, but people of India are much bigger than you , as they are the ultimate judge.
