INDIA HONEST blogged "Is The 2014 National Election A Referendum On Narendra Modi's Gujarat ? on July 2013, and it turns out to be more relevant even in Feb. 2014, as more and more desperate and demoralised Congress leaders, including the top cabinet minsters, are resorting to the only option they have on hand to criticise and make a twisted comparison of data on Gujarat's achievement in last one decade, while avoiding to discuss UPA's all India dismal performance .

What a surprising scenario unfolding in national politics, where all the roads leads to only and only discussions leading to what good or bad NaMo has done in Gujarat in last one decade. This is quite absurd from any of the angel :
a) why Congress will push NaMo to centre stage so early, without suitably naming a suitable candidate of their own, it shows they are surrendering before the real fight starts,
b) similarly why the opposition including B.J.P. will loosen their strong grip on the basis of UPA's dismal performance, by allowing Congress to rotate discussion around communal lines including 2002 riots, thus bypassing their worst performance on many burning national problems,
c) again why the people of the nation will be hypnotised to think that the next election will not be a referendum on UPA's present performance on India as a whole but it will be judgement on the performance of a state namely Gujarat, thus in effect sidelining the woes of 1.2 billion Indians.
INDIA HONEST asks a simple question to the Congress, are you matured and justified enough to ask for votes to 1.2 billion people of India,by discussing only on what is relevant for a state of Gujarat ? If not then, why they are not discussing what they have done in last nine years and nine months ? They must answer, why they thought proper to pass Food Security, Lokpal, Land bills and many other important bills only in last six months of their tenure ?
