The external affairs minister had on Tuesday called the Gujarat chief minister "impotent", when he said,"Some people came, attacked and went, and you couldn't protect. Are you not a strong man?" He added,"We don't accuse you (Modi) of killing people ... Hamara aarop hai ki tum 'napunsak'(impotent) ho. (Our accusation is that you are impotent). You couldn't stop the killers," .
BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi advised Congress leaders to keep patience.
"They are using this kind of language as they are frustrated ... All the senior leaders and ministers are aware that they would be wiped out. This kind of statements will take them nowhere.
Another senior BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain said that Congress and its leaders have "forgotten manners and etiquettes" and asked Rahul Gandhi whether he had imparted this kind of training to his leaders.
Congress leader and MoS Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Shukla said, "We don't support Khurshid's remarks against Modi. I will request all Congress leaders to not use such language,".
The scope of abuse-language-war extended with the heat moving in the BJP circle, when Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took potshots at Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi saying there can't be any comparison between BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and the Amethi MP.
He replied in chaste Hindi and said,"Kahan Narendra Modi aur kahan Rahul Gandhi. Kahan moochh ka bal aur kahan poochh ka bal ," and added, "Jisme kendra mein mantri ban-ney ka saahas nahi, woh PM kya banega? (no comparison between Modi and Rahul; one's a moustache, the other a tail;one who lacks the courage to take up a ministry can't aim to become PM)."
INDIA HONEST reasonably argues on the intention of the arrogant minister Khurshid, if by calling Narendra Modi for his incompitence, he was blaming Rahul Gandhi/Akhilesh Yadav for failure to save minorities in the Muzffernagar riots.
On being warned by Rahul Gandhi to apologise for using such abusive words, Khurshid remain defiant and fought back,"Why should I apologise? What should I say but impotent? Impotent means one, who failed to do what he was supposed to do. It is politics of incompetence."
Yes Khurshid was angry that when people have failed to find any other word for him at number of times in past. Khurshid is self declared impotent as he was unable to fight back with Pakistan, when they cut the head of Indian soldier, or when he has to plead excuse from Chinese soldiers, who stayed on after making intrusion on Indian territory.
Khurshid had a serious grudge when everybody called him impotent for his total failure in foreign policy in relations to Chinese incursion,on Pakistan,on Bangladesh, and lastly to US in Devyajani case or the worst when he has bow down to Itali ( the native place of Madam Sonia), when their marines killed Indian fishermen.
Every body has called Khurshid impotent, on his failure, but none used any similar word for the silent/cool most incompetent PM. Manmohan Singh for his complete failure , even nobody called Chidambarm or Shree Prakash Jaiswal for the Coal loot and economic disaster, so argues Khurshid why he alone should be blamed as impotent ?
And now if he opts to take revenge with his own high command though in disguise, then why Rahul is lecturing him to restrain ? Yes, everybody knew that Modi has to be made an unwanted scapegoat between the internal conflict of Congress party and it was the most suitable tactics to divert attention of people from the burning national problems, on the eve of crucial 2014 election .
IH fully agrees with tricky Salman Khurshid, that collectively all the Congress leaders are impotent, who were involved in the failed UPA 2, that caused in ruining India, by their incompetency.
