If Kerala Governor Nikhil Kumar can Resign and Run for Election, Why can't President Pranab Mukherjee ?

Yesterday night , Kerala Governor Nikhil Kumar resigned to make way for Sheila Dikshit, the defeated Chief Minister of Delhi, who had been blamed for many scams during her three term rule as CM. of Delhi . Sheila Dikshit was appointed on late Tuesday night, just twelve hours before the Election Commission issued poll notification, as the Governor of Kerala, it was within mere three months of her defeat in the recent Assembly polls.

The Congress led UPA 2  government has made the record of most odd actions, moral, legal, constitutional and the worst of ethics in the span of last five years, which history will treasure to remind people , how low the political leadership can go .On a lighter note , nobody will be surprised if the Congress president Sonia Gandhi decides one day to replace the frustrated and failed PM. Manmohan Singh, by requesting the President to step in.

Though the appointment of a governor is essentially a political call, but making an announcement literally hours before elections are announced is deplorable political immoral act .

Earlier the President had forced the government to back off on its move to bring anti-corruption ordinances last week after the promulgation of last session of the parliament, it is to be seen if he would agree to go along with another decision by the outgoing government.

Kerala Governor Nikhil Kumar, a former commissioner of Delhi Police and also former MP. from Aurangabad, has faxed his resignation to Rashtrapati Bhawan from Kochi airport after landing there from Delhi on Tuesday evening. The governor said that he was quitting his post, and that the Congress leadership would make an announcement on his contesting the Lok Sabha elections in a few days.

While it was decided by the Congress leadership to allow escape route and give a safe heaven to loyal Sheila Dikshit, though for the time being from the legal cases in her role in various corruption cases as Cm of Delhi. Moreover it was in accordance with the grace period the AAP's Arvind Kejriwal has allegedly agreed to be allowed to escape from facing the heat of these cases.

INDIA HONEST feels ashamed to the falling moral of the entire political leadership well among all the parties, when they never hesitate to downplay the ethics and ideology of a noble human being , who is supposed to lead politically the people of the nation . If Sheila has committed some wrong then she is guilty, but why not those who helped/managed her escape, like AAP's Kejriwal and Congress HM. Shinde, should also be held equally guilty ?
