Why More Opinion Poll Predict Congress Tally Below Fifty ?

Its double blow to Congress , when both Chandrasekhar Rao of TRS and Lalu Prasad Yadav of RJD decided to ditch in middle of sea, while Rahul's attempt to be cosy with JD(U) failed to materialise.

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao along with party general secretary K Keshava Rao in the party's politburo meeting in Hyderabad announced that his party's unanimous decision, not to merge with the Congress or even an alliance with the Congress.

The developments are a blow to the Congress’ Lok Sabha math, when they had gambled to secure the seventeen Telangana seats, while knowing well that all the twenty five seats of Seemandhra are lost to TRS or TDP.

The most disgracing event was the refusal of RJD's Lalu Prasad's refusal to accommodate Congress.Political savy Lalu has three things in mind :

*first Congress is a sinking ship which may not sail after this election ;

*second the role of Congress and CBI in the Fodder case will be over by end of UPA 2 ;

while the *third and most important is the resurgence of Lalu after the bail when he has garnered enough sympathy among his loyal caste based Yadav and minority supporters, that has given him hope of winning more seats than the present four . Moreover the discarded and frustrated Congress leadership has become a burden on RJD's winning prospect.

Denying the reports of RJD’s alliance with the Congress, party supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav arrogantly rubbished reports of alliance with Congress and said that nothing is decided till now .

The last nail in Congress's Bihar prospect was JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav's rule out of any tie-up with the Congress and when he said that his party would work to strengthen the Third Front of 11 non-BJP, non-Congress parties.

JD (U) supremo Sharad Yadav blasted, “We will strengthen Third Front and spoil the game of the Congress and BJP,”. This is most distressing irony for the Congress high command that the same Nitish Kumar, who had earlier left NDA only to join Congress UPA alliance, but than Sonia Gandhi preferred to go with RJD, and now both Nitish and Lalu refused to hold hands with them on equal terms .

With such a fast changing political scenario, INDIA HONEST will not be surprised if more opinion poll makers in near future predict any Congress' seat tally estimate that is effectively going below fifty while obliging Kejriwal's claim of higher seats target than Congress .
