The biggest scam of UPA2 - the Lutyens scam - a massive land scam, has threatened to compromise the security of the first citizen of India - the President, to serve the interests of a private party.
At the heart of this scam is a 22.95 acres close to the Rastrapati Bhavan. The Intelligence Bureau (IB) and the President's office have raised alarm bells about the proposed Uber-luxury apartment complex. The Lutyens scam explodes on Prime Minister's doorstep. So, did the Prime Minister's office choose to look the other way?
The details as coming out is that one land measuring 23 acres has been allowed to be used for construction of super luxirious Uber complex by changing the use of land clause. The land is situated within 2 to 3 kilometer radius of Rastrapati Bhavan , Parliament and many other high sensitive national offices. The permission was granted for initial four storied building , which can be later amended on application.
The Intelligence Department has raised serious security question as the Mughal garden and part of Rastrapati Bhavan comes under the sniper gun and rocket launching range , a major security risk for those in around the Bhavan.
The President office objected on this and matter stands with PMO., while the urban Minister Kamalnath has given green signal to the deal. The commercial value of the highly restrictive land is worth ten thousand crores, and it was presumed to be taken by the subsidiary of famous DLF , known to be close to Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
